Cozy Relaxing Escape w/ Fire Pit - Dog Friendly - 7 minutes to Downtown Brevard

Relaxing getaway conveniently located to all the beauty Brevard has to offer, with all the comforts of home. Relax on the covered front porch and make friends with our resident white squirrels (Tree-na, Barbara, and Squirrel Bob), or enjoy watching the large family of deer who frequent our yard and tiny stream. Our warm and welcoming home is ideal for couples or families and has an acre of land and a tiny stream to explore. Perfect for mountain bikers!

Our small but cozy house is newly updated and thoughtfully decorated. It's a wonderfully quiet, clean, and inviting space after a day of adventuring and chasing waterfalls. We have a fully equipped kitchen to meet your culinary needs and brand new memory foam mattresses in all 3 bedrooms, you'll sleep like a baby no matter what bed you choose and be fully rested for your next adventure. We love staying here when we can, and when we can't, we love to share it with others.

We have fast Wifi with Roku (apps downloaded ready for your login) and DVD on the TV in the living room. Or if you’re looking for a break from technology, we have a selection of board games and books to choose from.

There is a split unit AC/ Heater in the main living area. Please note, there is NOT a separate unit in the bedrooms but the split unit works very efficiently to cool/heat bedrooms when bedroom doors are open. All three bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and windows can be opened to enjoy a nice mountain breeze.

We have just added a gas grill for your use. We do our best to keep the tanks full, but at the slight chance gas should run out, there are stores close by for an easy refill. If you have to refill, we will gladly reimburse you the cost with receipt proof.

In the winter months we recommend AWD and 4WD with snow tires and or chains in the event of snow, although when there is no snow, FWD/2WD is sufficient at navigating our road and driveway. We can in no way guarantee the weather, so we cannot be held responsible for snow that may fall. Please know that in the event of a snow storm, you may get snowed in if you choose to bring a vehicle ill equipped to handle it.

Please be aware that this is a pup-friendly place. While we do a thorough clean after each guest and do our best to remove all the pet hair, it is virtually impossible to get rid of it entirely. So the occasional pet hair will likely be found inside. If you have dog allergies this may not be the best fit for you.

We offer an initial supply of coffee, tea, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, basic cleaning supplies, broom, vacuum, laundry, and dishwashing detergents, and some spices.


We offer 24 hr video surveillance on the exterior of the home only. 1 camera located above the main entrance to the house that has a full view of carport and driveway. This device records when motion is detected and records 24/7 for security purposes. There are NO cameras inside the home, only outside.
