Our stay was ok. The place was clean and having the washer and dryer there was a big help. Sorry but there is no lake view. Maybe in the winter when there are no leaves and the bushes have died off. The hot tub was nice but you needed two strong people to get the cover off and then find where to put it. The location was good for us. I also have a rental and after staying here I don’t think I charge enough and I give my guest way to many extras. . We did have a good time visiting several of the Bourbon distilleries.

Hot tub was hot, marina didn’t open until May. No gift shop or Edgewater Resort gift shop/store. Husband fell on small half step and hurt his knee and elbow. Resort was clean, quiet and beautiful. Everyone we ran into was polite. Far from food except McDonald’s. Dollar Generals are close for forgotten items.beds were great, water pressure good and everything worked just fine.

Good stay on the lake

Quiet area close to the lake. I wish it were a little closer to Louisville proper and to groceries and other amenities. The toys in the closet were a good surprise for my two year old. Good stay over all. Would go back again

The house was as described. It is in a gated community near Taylorsville Lake. Nice and quiet! I definitely recommend it.

Quiet but close to loads of activity.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood for relaxing but an easy drive to a lot of well known distilleries and shopping. The Kentucky countryside is beautiful with lots of scenic locations. Went Bernheim Gardens to see the troll family. We have Billy the Beard Fisher in the U.P. Michigan. Had a fantastic trip!

Louisville trip lodging Angel Envy 29

It is a bit of a drive,but well worth it. And there are places to shop for groceries, and fast food. Easy to check in and out. The hot tub was a nice addition. Beds were comfy and had no problems with wifi. Thanks for the great experience.

Lake Trip

The house was exactly as advertised, worth the value and we had a great time. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t get the television in the living room to work very well.

The house is fine, not great but fine. Needed to be cleaned better (dead bugs in the corner of the family room) toile seat covers had weird stains on them and the trundle bed had nasty stains on it. Furniture is outdated and couch sinks way low! Freezer door did not stay shut and all appliances need to be updated. The biggest problem was that the pool was closed the entire time of our stay and we were informed of this closure 2 days before our arrival. We honestly would have not stayed here had we known earlier. The property manger was very apologetic about this and was not in control of this closure. We had a great time on the lake but have decided not to go back to this property or resort for our summer girls trip. Again it was fine but we expected it to be great like the other 2 times we’ve stayed in this community.

Simple and practical.

Nothing fancy. Very clean. Great location if you're fishing/boating. Close enough to Louisville to visit attractions there too. Walking distance to pool. Could sleep 2 couples, and 2 more individual if someone wanted to sleep on the couch. Only complaint, the mattresses are rock hard. Still gave 5 stars.

Tranquility

This property was located in a resort with several other cottages and homes yet it was nice and quiet. The cottage we stayed in was clean and was very well equipped with all your kitchen needs. Our get away was more about relaxing away from people so we didnt utilize the lake, but it was easily accessible just minutes from where we were. The hottub was clean and ready to use. We had 2 full baths at our disposal as well; an added convenience. Our dogs enjoyed our walks down the road and in the public use grassy areas. We were only about 25 minutes from great restaurants and distilleries. The host and prperty manager were available at a moments notice if needed. The communication from them was exceptional as well. Highly recommend this cottage any time of the year!!

We had a great stay at Angels Envy. The location is beautiful and the host was very accommodating! It was also really nice to have access to the pool! We will certainly stay here again!

awesome stay

we had the best time at angels envy29!! the hosts Natalya and Suzanne were absolutely wonderful! they responded to questions and concerns in a very speedy manner!! Suzanne was also very helpful with a lost article that I accidently left behind(and for that I am eternally grateful) the place was clean, comfy and had everything we could possibly need! we especially enjoyed the hottub. we were very happy it was close to all the sites we were planning on seeing! thanks so much for the great, comfortable stay away from home!! we will be back! Home base for 4 days on the 2022 Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Making the rental online was not a problem. The house itself was clean but certainly not spotless. Beds were fine. Kitchen was fine. Was thinking (hoping) we would have Lake view but did not. Overall would say it met our needs and the value was ok!
