The General Store is right around the corner, known for its hearty breakfasts and legendary fried chicken at lunch. Accommodations were as pictured, clean and comfortable. Loved having breakfast on the deck overlooking the lagoon and watching the wildlife before heading to the beach for the day. Easy walk to beach.Will stay again if heading back to Hilton Head.

Villa on the Lagoon

Overall we had an excellent stay in this comfortable villa just a short walk from the ocean. Our kids and teen grandchildren each spent a week with us and had wonderful time biking, beaching, and enjoying the resort complex. We would definitely come back to this ideal location.

Great Family Beach Get Away!

Our stay in Palmetto Dunes was amazing! This property was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near "everything" Palmetto Dune's and Hilton Head has to offer! Our family had so much fun riding bikes, going to the pool which is right outside the door, and running on the beach in the Palmetto Dunes Turtle Trot. We also enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this villa offered!! Tom was a great host and was very responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything!! We will definitely book this property again!!

Check in was very smooth. We were sent helpful restaurant and shopping recommendations for the area. Bathrooms were updated and beds comfortable. Could use a deep clean - cleaning blinds in kitchen and ceiling fans, but otherwise I felt it was clean. Would have been helpful to have a swifter with the wet cloths for us to use to clean the floor while staying there. This may sound picky, but the wood trim around the floor could be updated at some point to help improve the appearance. Some areas looked older.

We loved our stay in Hilton Head. The condo is super close to the beach and pool. Back decks were nice to relax and enjoy the wildlife. Property Manager Thomas was wonderful to work with. Prompt responses to questions prior to our arrival and during our stay.

Paradise get away

We loved everything! A short walk to an amazing beach. On a beautiful canal where we could sit and watch nature including, birds: egrets, herons, osprey , anhinga, cormorants . Plus deer and alligators. Three bed rooms and baths to accommodate everyone! My 90 year old mother stayed with us, the main floor bedroom was perfect for her and she walked to the beach everyday! We are looking forward to our return trip next year. It booked fast so we had to be flexible on our dates for next year but we found it perfect for our needs.

We loved the condo and it’s location. It was quiet and the wildlife lagoon side was special. The proximity to the beach was great. Only criticism is the linens supplied. We only used one King bed and the sheets were very poor quality. I washed them each week and another set would have been helpful. The towels were flimsy and not very absorbent. Other than that we were delighted.

Great pet Friendly place VERY close to beach

Property was newly remodeled with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Very clean....I usually have to spend a day cleaning but I did not clean before we "moved in". Lots of room and all baths are ensuite, which is great when hosting others. only about 3 minute walk to beach. We have been coming to Palmetto Dunes for years and never stayed in Ocean Cove but location is excellent...very close to Dunes House. Available bikes worked fine, which was a real bonus! Dog friendly and includes a couple gates and dog bowls, though we brought our own. We had a few minor issues (propane tank couldn't be turned on) and property manager was very responsive....even cleaned the grill while he was there. Great property which we would recommend to others.

Second year staying here with the family and wouldn’t want it any other way. Can’t beat the location and all the space. The lagoon is a great backdrop for eating breakfast as well as dinner. The beach is just a quick walk down the road and the ability to just take a bike to the general store is amazing. The kitchen could use a little more silverware but that’s an easy fix. Overall this place is definitely at the top of my list for our annual trips to HHI.

Wonderful accommodations for my family. We fit 8 of us very comfortably. Walking distance from the beach and right next to the pool. The host sent the instructions for getting in and lots of information regarding the area. The only problems were that we didn’t get the free parking pass like advertised and the air conditioner could not keep up with the heat outside. It stayed 80 degrees in the house throughout our whole stay.

Beach Time!

Beautifully decorated home, with well stocked kitchen. Our group of 6 toured Savannah, then finished our week here. Loved the welcome packet information. Short walk to the pool, and beach. Walked to the beach restaurant for supper and awesome music!
