We enjoyed our stay especially the location. It was a short ride to the beach and close to mini golf and restaurants and Hannaford market. My grandchildren also liked the pool. On the negative side there was a pine tree that dripped on the stairs and railing leading into the cottage. Also it was on the lawn chairs and picnic table. Chip and Stacy tried to be helpful but it was a no win situation aside from getting rid of the tree. The sap was on our shoes and hands. We had an issue with the queen bed which we had to secure with cup covers. Also the floor was not level in the unit. All in all we still had a good time but would look elsewhere for a more up to date place to stay.

Perfect Place for a Family Getaway

Perfect location to be close to the beach and area stores and restaurants. Super clean cabin. Loved the pool. Owners were friendly. Would highly recommend.

Clean and attentive

We had a wonderful stay as we always do. This was our 4th time and we highly recommend New Harbor View Cottages. We needed a new battery for the smoke detector…I texted Stacy and within 15 minutes she texted me back saying they would have it fixed shortly. Her husband came and fixed it and gave us a great recommendation for dinner - smoke - a delicious bbq joint about 5 miles down the road. Thank you both for another wonderful stay. We had a great time taking our dogs to the beach and eating great food!

Maine 2024

This is the 3rd time staying at New Harbor View Cottages.We always go back because of the ease of checking in and the laid back atmosphere. There were new additions to the cabin from the last time we stayed.( as noticed by my daughter :) ) I highly recommend staying here as it is only a mile walk to the beach and it is conveniently located. Will definitely be back again, it has turned into a family favorite.

Great comfortable spot

We had a delightful eight days at the New Harbor View cottages. We come to Wells almost every year, and this was one of the favorite places we have stayed: centrally located, with easy beach access, everything we needed in our cottage and a sweet little pool. The dog-friendly nature of the place also suited us and our pup very well. Chip was very easy to deal with and even gave us some local fishing recommendations. Our younger son and dog loved encountering him on his daily rounds with his beautful St. Bernard, Lilly. We plan to return!

Get away

Cute,cozy cabin with everything you need located near beach,Hannafords, movie theater etc. Stacy was very sweet, no problems with check in or out. TV did not work but not due to any fault of the host thank mother Nature for that. Other than that had a great stay with our two dogs and another couple.

Wells trip 2023

Our family comes to Wells every year. We had a wonder stay at Stacey's place. It had everything we needed. Walking distance to most everything. The pool was a hit with daughter, especially in the evening hours.

Family Vacation

My family and I haven’t taken a trip in a couple years because we got a dog. We love Maine, but wouldn’t go without our pup. When we found this place, we booked it right away! The cottage was so cozy and our whole family got to be together! So close to all the stores and restaurants and more importantly the beaches! We will definitely stay here again!!

Excellent place to stay

Definitely a great place to stay. We stayed in Cottage #8 and it was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with full kitchen and living room. It was lovely. It also has a screened in porch with two chairs and a table as well as a place to hang your wet clothes (towels, bathing suit). Grounds were lovely. There was a fire pit and cornhole to play. The pool was lovely with plenty of chairs, shade, and pool noodles, lounge chair to use in the pool. The hosts were fabulous and easy to chat with and if you needed anything. The only thing they do not have is a washer/dryer but that was not a problem for any of us that were staying there. Definitely a place you can bring your pets. Highly recommend this place. Looking forward to coming back here again.
