Four bedrooms that sleep up to 12 - 4.5 baths with 3 tubs and 2 steam showers. (Three bedrooms have a private bath. One bedroom needs to share a bath.)

4700 sq foot home with fully equipped kitchen, dining room and sun porch.
Ballroom-sized living room with 11 foot ceilings for family reunions, meetings and concerts up to 50 people. Dining table seats 6-8 and breakfast table seats 4-6.

The EAA, Experimental Aircraft Association, events are 3-4 miles away as the house is in historic Downtown Oshkosh. Only 50 miles to Lambeau field in Green Bay

There is a large shaded garden on the south side with outdoor furniture.

The Doe House was an incredible stay! Rebecca was such a responsive host, and her attention to detail was superior…From the thoughtful bakery to the seasonal decor! The beds were very comfortable, and the space was so spacious for our wedding welcome party and other festivities! The house was plenty stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend.

Thank you Sean! I am glad it worked out with your son and his friends to stay at The Doe House. They were respectful of the neighborhood and I am grateful for that. They also washed a set of sheets to help clean up! So nice of them. There was some beer spilled on the floors and rugs that our housekeeper will have to take extra time on but other than that, the place was treated well by the guys. Thank you for that!

Wonderful stay in Oshkosh for our son's wedding!

The Doe House was the perfect choice for the two nights we were in Oshkosh, celebrating our son's wedding! The historic charm and elegance of the property, combined with the modern amenities, made it the ideal location for this special occasion. We were able to host the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, and also enjoy wonderful overnight accommodations for two families. Better than I could have hoped!

I stayed here with close friends the night before my wedding and it was gorgeous! We had so much fun and it was very memorable. They also were kind enough to extend our check out time by an hour. They were super hospitable and if I get the opportunity I would stay again!

Wedding Weekend Family Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Doe House! Our family along with some soon to be in laws stayed at the house and it was the prefect setting for a beautiful wedding weekend. The bridal party even got ready at the house and couldn't stop talking about how impressive the house was. We loved the history of the how well taken care of it is. Becky was a fantastic host and her attention to detail and small touches did not go unnoticed.

We have 2 lovely Steam Shower Spas with no place to list that amenity in VRBO. I hope you were able to indulge in them! I have removed Spa/Whirlpool as an amenity to avoid confusion in the future. Historical charm with upgraded amenities

check in was an easy process. Becky was so helpful in going over the house set up with me. It made me feel at ease setting up our son's rehearsal party. Our guest was also so impressed with this beautiful home. This house is Loved and cared for! Thank you Becky!!!!

The property was absolutely sublime. Every bit as beautiful as pictured - immaculately clean, with A extras like heated bathroom floors, more towels than a family of six could use, and super cozy beds/bedding. The host went above and beyond to personalize our stay - texting in advance of our stay to get an idea of our visit with ideas for things to see and do, left us thoughtful treats, and was available for questions during our stay. Our family is crossing our fingers for a reading to return to Oshkosh and The Doe House.

Rebecca and her husband Paul Williams bought the Doe House when it was on the auction block in order to save it. They worked with Laib Restoration of Oshkosh to replace pipes and get the house in livable condition again. Renting to people for parties and occasions is what the house is all about! It is quite an experience to stay in a 150+ year old Victorian Masion! William Doe built the house in 1869 with renowned architect William Waters. Rebecca Doe Brown is the 3x great grand daughter and namesake of William Doe's 3rd child Rebecca Doe Jackson.

This property is historic and unique. With the 11 foot ceilings, old windows and creaky 150 year old floors, it is an experience to stay in a Victorian Mansion. Rebecca Brown's 2x great grandmother was married in the house in Jan 1877 and they loved to have parties and open houses on New Year's Day and July 4th.
