Decided to shake it up for Christmas and spend it with family in Destin. This condo was perfect! Very comfortable and excellent location. View was gorgeous! Beach was beautiful and the building itself was very nice and well managed. Would absolutely book again in the future’

The condo was beautiful

The condo had 3 big bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and my big family of 7 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our week of vacation in Destin. The property was very well kept and clean! Access to the beach was very easy and close! The pool area very accommodating and clean and very relaxing! We felt very safe at this property because it had security gates.

Multiple repairs needed. TV quit working and they did not replace. Front bedrooms need curtains or black out shades. Kitchen needs more supplies. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

Great view of the ocean!

We had a great stay at Jade East. The condo is in a great spot looking out at the beach/ocean. It was spacious and clean for 5 people. The pool was not heated as it said - we also were not notified of the pool being out of order for scheduled maintenance for half of our trip which was a bummer but overall we would recommend and would stay again.

We had never been to this part of Florida. We didn’t even realize it was in the central time zone-lol. Such an amazing week just relaxing by the pool, beach, playing cards, drinking coffee watching the sunrise from the balcony. Highly recommend!!

Was a great size room, the view was great, easy access to the parking lot. My only complaint is the washer was off-balance, regardless of the size of laundry. Staff was phenomenal and quick with all our other questions and issues!

Family vacation

We had a great stay in unit 610 with our adult children and infant granddaughter. We did have a problem with air conditioner, but it was promptly checked out and resolved. The only thing I would have changed is location of washer/dryer. It is in one of the bathrooms inside a bedroom. This is a beautiful property and we would stay here again!

This was a great place to stay everyone had a great time. I will go thru all the good things and the few bad. The location was good and not too far from places to eat and other things to do. The view was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed for the stay. Plenty of room to move around for the 7 people in our party. Hall closet had things left over from previous tenants stay we used a little cooler that was perfect to take down to the beach. Overall everything was good. Pool area was good and clean and no problems or issues with staff. Now for things that could use attention. There needs to be blackout curtains in the two spare bedrooms there is too much light coming thru the window in both rooms. The master bedroom was fine. The air conditioning works great thru the condo and will get very cold but the master bedroom does not cool off like the rest of the rooms. The master bedroom does need attention because it is sufficiently different in temperature than the rest of the other rooms. Also the master bedroom mattress could probably use replacing because it does sink in the middle. I still give this place a 5 star because overall we had a great experience. Just need a few things to attend to.

Great location! Easy walk to beach

The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (adult children) - the 3 bedrooms were large with a bathroom per. The balcony and primary bedroom had the most amazing views overlooking the beach. Overall the condo was clean and equipped with what we needed. Coming from out of state we rented chairs and umbrella most days. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach was beautiful. The building was as secure and centrally located. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great and our cell service was worse but we weren’t there to sit on our phones all week. Highly recommend and planning to go back next May.

Loved every second of our stay at this condo. Perfect weather, great location, a couple of complaints I have is security knocked on the door twice loudly and rang doorbell at 10pm after we were all in bed. This was all because the parking pass which was visible in the windshield was not filled out. Could have definitely waited until morning. The master bed squeaked just sitting on it but was comfy and the freezer beeped saying high temp about once a minute though there were no problems with things remaining frozen. All of these things are minor and we really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay during the first week of may

The condo was absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot hub were very nice. the reason for my bad rating was due to the staff on the grounds. We were pretty much borderline harassed at least 3 times a day by the staff. We go on 2 vacations every year (beach/condo) vacation and have NEVER been hassled by anyone our entire trip. So if you plan on the staff constantly bothering you, yelling at you about your kids (who are quietly playing in the pool) and or trying to give you a hard time after absolutely anything when you’re just trying to have relaxing time with your family then I would definitely not recommend this location. The beach was beautiful but you can find another location with the same beach and nice staff members.

Great condo with a few flaws

This condo was as advertised. It was clean and the ocean views were great and the furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked except for a few essentials (Ex: there were only 8 forks). Work needs to be done on the toilets/plumbing. One of the toilets overflowed on us the first night we were there and another toilet ran constantly and wouldn't flush most of the time. Our call to the management office was answered immediately and a maintenance person was there to take care of the overflow problem very quickly. Beach access was very easy and close. All-in-all, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay at this condo again in the future.

Destin stay

Jade East 610 had a beautiful view and clean beds BUT there were many many problems with the unit. One of the toilets ran continuously , the washer was completely out of balance and practically bounced across the floor, sink handle was broken, another sink had the stopper broken, unit was not clean overall. We called management and only one thing was corrected. In one bedroom there were three empty liquor bottles found under the mattress. The list goes on and on. Though we loved the location we will definitely not be coming back to Jade East

Over rated for the premium price

Building is 25 yrs old. Unit 610 never remolded except paint. Appliances & cabinets in poor condition. Mold in all bathrooms .Floors dirty, furniture stained. No security, loud music and bad behavior at pool, and on decks. Needed window coverings in two bedrooms. Trash trucks every morning from 5:45 till 7:00 AM. large groups not staying here entering after 5 :00 daily. We have been coming to Destin for over 30 yrs. and have stayed at Jade East when it was new and over the years. This is the worst condition unit, and the lack of security is appalling.

Esthetically pleasing, but constant issues

The condo room was esthetically pleasing and appeared clean, however it must’ve been mopped with dirty mop water because the bottom of our feet were filthy after showering and walking through the condo. The grout in the bathrooms could use a good cleaning too. We weren’t provided our vehicle parking pass so we got violation warnings on our vehicles stating they would be towed while we were waiting on our passes. We were suppose to have 8 wristbands in the room, but only had 4 wristbands. Luckily, the security staff wasn’t concerned with the kids not having arm bands. Our codes to the beach was rarely working throughout the day. Also, our beach code wouldn’t work after 10pm or guests weren’t allowed on the beach after 10pm. Then the beach gate code and our room codes stopped working prior to checkout time on our last day. If it hadn’t been for part of our party staying in the room we would’ve been stuck outside waiting on the room to be unlocked. Thankfully, with the issues we had the response from the customer service was very prompt both via phone or txt. Overall, the condo itself was spacious, nice, and close to all the Beach activities.
