Knotty Pine - Short drive to Brewery Ommegang. Choose this very private country retreat nestled in a clearing in a lightly wooded area for your family.. There are acres of mowed lawn for a game of catch or to spread a blanket and have a picnic. Wild turkeys can often be seen at the edge of the woods, or you may see a white tail deer just before dusk. This home sits on 90 quiet, serene wooded acres just a short drive from all that Cooperstown has to offer.

The living room with high ceilings and a large SmartTV has an open flow right to the kitchen and sunroom, this whole area connects directly to the 10 x 30 outdoor deck with outdoor seating and dining table and a gas grill. The perfect spot to enjoy a meal or just listen to the sights and sounds of nature. There is also a firepit in the back lawn for amazing star filled NY nights.

The interior is finished with v-groove pine boards, giving Knotty Pine its name and an authentic cabin feel. The living area has a very open floor plan with cathedral ceilings; the décor is inspired by the lodges popular in the Adirondack Mountains. A 1st floor Queen bed and 1st floor bathroom is great for those in your group who don't care for stairs. There are 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd floor. Recently, a lower-level family room, with laundry was added to give more space for guests to spread out. The lower level space has a large comfy sectional couch and a SmartTV of its own. This country getawayhas all you need to feel at home, including High Speed fiber-optic broadband internet so you can easily "work from home" while you are away, or stream your favorite show while you relax.

There is a daybed (twin + trundle bed) in the sunroom that offers extra sleeping capacity.

An outdoor fire pit is provided for family campfires under the stars, as well as firewood. Kick back and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while taking in our spectacular night sky.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient.

We stayed here for our son’s Cooperstown dreams park tournament. It was close enough to everything that we could easily get around but just far enough away to have a nice place to relax after all the chaoticness every day. The house is spacious and beautiful. Perfect space for our whole family, my aunt and uncle and another team family to stay in. The owners were super responsive and friendly! Definitely recommend!!!

Family weekend getaway

Had a wonderful stay here and absolutely would book again! The cabin was perfect for our family of five. The weather was unfortunately terrible all weekend, but the cabin was cozy and comfortable. We would have loved to take advantage of the walking trails and fire pit—next time for sure.

Great, private location just a few minutes away from downtown Cooperstown.

There was some construction going on next to our house but oyr stay was mostly quiet and enjoyable. Hosts were great and provided everything we needed for our stay. Mobile signal for phones was nonexistent but wifi worked great. Great location just outside of downtown Cooperstown

Clean, cozy home

We stayed here to visit our daughter at SUNY Oneonta. Only a 20 min drive. Easy to get everywhere. House was super clean and so cozy! The host stopped by and was so nice! Would def stay here again.

We stayed at Knotty Pine. The house was in a good spot, convenient to Cooperstown and Oneonta. Nicely secluded in the woods off of a main road. The house was in great shape and we enjoyed staying in it. I would rent it again if I was going back to that area. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect place to stay if playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park

Our son was playing at Cooperstown Dreamspark so we wanted to stay pretty close to the park. Knotty Pine is the perfect place to stay in the area. The house is immaculate and the hosts are so responsive and accommodating. They even brought us fresh eggs. The setting is beautiful and the home was equipped with extra blankets, linens, etc. You will not regret staying here!

Great place to stay!

This is a beautiful place to stay. The cabin was well equipped, clean and cozy. The fire pit was great and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The other two couple we were with hiked the trails around us and said it was beautiful! The only thing I would recommend is bring outside lawn chairs with you for the fire pit. There were only three and there was six of us. I would highly recommend this quiet, secluded cabin for vacations and it’s only about a 15-20 drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Cutest House and Perfect for our Baseball Family

We really enjoyed our stay at Knotty Pine. Close enough to Dreams Park and perfectly tucked away for some rest and quiet. The owners are so sweet and communicated with us well before, during and after our stay. They even left us a dozen eggs from their chickens which we loved. The wildlife is really cool and we got to really love the birds around the house. Definitely recommend this house and will be passing along the info to all our friends coming here for the baseball tournament in the future.

Cool Cabin

There were 3 couples and the cabin was laid out perfectly. Beds were comfy. Property was just secluded enough to give you a woods feel. Met the owner, nice guy! Got us some fresh eggs from his chickens. Only drawback was bathroom’s were small. We had a great time even though the weather was crappy!! Terry S.
