Great spot in Kihei

This was a great little spot in Kihei! Easy walk to the beach and some breakfast spots/shops. The apartment is cozy. My boyfriend and I had a great trip! Matthew was super easy to communicate with to get our plans in motion!

Thanks for the feedback. Coffee maker gets used a lot! It’s replaced a time or two a year in fact, so will do once again! The condo association is replacing the roof vents in each stack of units, so this will help overall airflow pull through the condo—especially the bathroom where the vent is located. (Not sure what ‘suspicious’ rug means, but it is new so that should not be an issue?). Sorry about the type of bed you might be used to. These are very subjective things, and unfortunately owners like us have to try and find a happy medium with a ‘not to hard or soft’ mattress to accommodate as many ‘comfort levels’ as possible. We did not get a cheap mattress by any means and actually have had guests ask which brand it is so they can buy one themselves! And yes, the AC is beyond quiet. You can’t even tell it’s running when it’s on, so another nice feature we’ve taken into account with all of the renovation changes we’ve made. We do everything in our control to make this the nicest and most comfortable place to stay as appreciated by the 150 guests’ 5 star reviews!

Super clean and walking distance to beach!

My partner and I had a great stay at this property during our time on Maui! The unit was very clean and was well stocked with cooking spices/oil, snorkeling gear, beach chairs/umbrella/mat, sunscreen and bug spray (among other things). The in-unit washer/dryer was a huge bonus as well. The best part, though, was the proximity to the beach! We grabbed takeout for dinner and walked 2 min to the beach every night to watch the sunset!!! Would definitely stay here again,

Great Spot

Perfect place for a vacation. Host communicates everything quickly and clearly. The condo has all the amenities you need, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, lots of dishes and utensils, small appliances including a rice maker, which was great for cooking up quick stirfry meals. The units upgaded windows, AC and plenty of fans keep the place cool and pretty quiet. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and close to grocery stores, restaurants and food trucks. Would definitely rent again, five stars!

Great stay

I am a light sleeper so asked the owner about the noise as the unit is close to the street. He assured me that he had put in new double pane windows and a split system heat pump and it would not be a problem. He was right, it was quiet and having a heat pump rather than the old air conditioner in the window made all the difference. We slept well and were very comfortable only having to use the air conditioning about 30 minutes each day. Highly recommend great place for a great price.

Location location location

This excellent property offers a prime beachfront location, just a short walk from the shore. The condo is well-equipped with numerous amenities for a perfect beach day and is notably quiet. Both the condo and its facilities, like the barbecues, are top-notch. The owner was also very accommodating and responsive. However, the condo's small size limits storage for personal items, as most spaces are already filled. A suggestion would be to reduce decorative items and clear out unnecessary duplicates, especially in the kitchen where a set of sharp knives would be a great addition. This would be particularly helpful for longer stays. Overall, the minor issues are overshadowed by the condo's many positives. We are grateful to our host for a fantastic 15-day stay in Maui.

We were disappointed in the condo. I specifically asked the owner about a/c in the bedroom. I was told that there was a/c in the bedroom. When we arrived, a note was left by the owner stating that it had gone out, he tried to find a replacement part but was unable to repair until February. The note left by the owner stated that we could open the bedroom window & there was a small fan in there. The bedroom window was in the main corridor where people pass by. We will not stay at this location again.

We, the home owners were at the property before this stay. Yes, the a/c in the bedroom went out a few days before. We called 6 places for a replacement unit (as there are no service centers on the island). NO portable a/c units are available since this was beginning of winter season and they do not get them in until spring. The condo has 3 fans and one specifically purchased for the bedroom window. It fits directly into the window itself which even when installed would not allow people to see in. As owners, we treat the comfort of our guests as we would want to be treated! We spent hours trying to see if we could find a replacement before we left but resources are limited on the island as you can imagine! We now have a new $4,000 split air conditioning system installed in the condo, replacing both units that were there.

Cute place, great amenities and close to beach.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and provided great amenities including beach gear and access to a Weber grill. We were so close to Charley Young Beach we walked down and watched amazing sunsets nightly.

We live in Fort Lauderdale Florida and people often ask why we travel so far to go to a place that has beaches, palm trees and a tropical climate. Not only is it across the street from the nicest of Maui beaches, but the town of Kihei has everything within a short distance that you could need or want. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, movie theatres, rental activity stores and more!
