Mount Dora has many exciting things that it is known for...Festivals, top rated small town in the USA, Harris chain of lakes largemouth bass/crappie tournament fishing, multiple freshwater springs in close proximity, biking & hiking paths, pickle ball, tennis, lawn bowling and a public pool heated year round.

Beautiful days end with a breathtaking sunset at an outdoor restaurant or from our light house at Grantham Point. You will be at the center of it all and living like a local! Come and fall in love with a town that has kept its roots in history!

Can't say any thing bad. Great place to stay. Hosts were exceptional. Extremely clean and well decorated. Could walk to town shops and restaurants.

Look no further! We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this unit has to be the nicest!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one has to be the nicest! The renovation is beautiful, charming modern and has everything you need. Very spacious and convenient. A quick walk to downtown mount Dora and the host is exceptional! Very gracious and responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

Best Place Ever!

Absolutely loved staying at this house! Jan and Suzanne were the best host and hostess! Everything about our stay was excellent. The house is tastefully decorated, extremely clean, and loaded with amenities. We didn't lack anything the week that we stayed! Can't imagine a better location...walking distance to downtown, Lake Dora, and trails. Don't hesitate to book this house! You won't be disappointed!

Sweet (almost) downtown Mount Dora Suite

From the moment Suzanne greeted us until our checkout we felt taken care of. It was so well decorated and clean, so clean. My husband liked sitting at the front desk and watching all the people walking by. We walked almost everywhere, which on a busy holiday weekend was great, no parking hassles. There was even a washer/dryer to use and off street parking. We’ll be back.

Ideal House and Location

Truly one of the best rental experiences we have had. The house was spotless, showroom decorated, and every small detail was thought of to make a renters experience perfect. The location was ideal. We had never been to Mount Dora and didn't know what to expect. The town has a lot to offer and everthing is in walking distance from the house. The town is busy and if we would have had to drive to downtown it would not have been the great experience we had. I can't recommend this house enough.

My Husband and I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We then raised our family in the historic Village of Garden City on Long Island, NY. When looking to move back to Florida; we knew we didn’t want the hustle and bustle of South Florida.

We had family in the central Florida area. While spending time here at vacation rentals, we fell in love with the quaintness, friendliness and beauty of Mount Dora! Because we spent a year living in vacation rentals we are tuned into what works and what doesn’t when hosting guests.

We hope you come and enjoy the embrace of what old Florida is all about and the comfort of a beautifully decorated space to call home.

This property immerses you in the historic district and local living at it’s best. You have an easy, short walk to downtown, marina, parks, hiking trails, biking, lake, kayak rental, lawn bowling, pickleball, tennis, boat tours, Segway tours and festivals. Live music and sunsets are just blocks from you on any given day. Mount Dora Transit is an extended golf cart that also does pick-ups and deliveries anywhere in the historic district for free (they work for tips). You also get local history of our charming town.

We also provide amenities that make it so you can enjoy all the special events that take place on a seasonal calendar for the area. These include portable chairs for events, swim towels, plastic drinking glasses, water bottles for hikes, picnic throw and a backpack cooler.

The exploring is limitless!!!
