Perfect location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long holiday weekend at Ocean Breeze East. The condo was clean and view of the beach couldn’t be better.

We loved it!

Everything was close the only thing we disliked was how tight the parking is! Would definitely go back again we enjoyed it! Easy access to beach!

Friend Getaway

The condo was clean and on the second floor which made it quick access to the pool and parking. The beds were comfortable but could use more pillows. My husband cooked breakfast each morning but had issues with the stovetop. Some of the burners didn’t work and the others weren’t level. I, also, was under the impression there was supposed to be a hairdryer on the premises, but we never found one. We had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect.

Pros- The view was nice. We had a small hiccup with the wifi & the company got that taken care of first thing the next morning. The beach was very nice, not super crowded or loud.Cons- The unit for the central heat & air is on the balcony, so it was very loud on the balcony any time the unit was running. Also, for our 6 night stay, they only left 1 extra trash bag for the kitchen... NO extra trash bags for the bathrooms... each bathroom had 1 new roll of toilet paper on the holder & NO extra rolls were left... same with paper towels, no extra rolls were left... there were 2 tablets for the dishwasher & one small (single use) packet of dish soap for sink use... & nothing left for laundry use... so we had to go buy laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags, that we didnt realize that we were going to need to buy... having to buy the detergent & dish soap didnt bother me as much as having to buy the toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags... i understand not leaving a lot bc ppl like to "take" extra things home, but for a 6 day stay in a condo that sleeps 6 (we had 5 ppl ages ranging from 13-41), I expected at least one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, at least 1 extra roll of toilet paper, & more than 1 extra kitchen trash bag (especially since its not even a full sized kitchen trash can)

As noted in our pre-arrival communications, we provide a basic starter kit that includes one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to help get you through the first 24 hours. We encourage guests to plan for additional supplies or visit nearby stores. Your comments are valuable, and we understand how having a few more basics on hand could make for a more seamless experience. We truly appreciate you choosing Southern Vacation Rentals and hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a future visit.

Ocean Breeze East April 2022

The unit was in a great location. The conditions of the unit were not very good; the dryer was not working and the manager knew of this in advance but did not inform us. We only discovered it when we washed a load of wash and could not dry it! The stove was in poor shape. Including the bottom drawer that was stuck half way out and could not be closed. The bed in the 2nd bedroom was not comfortable, the bed in the master bedroom WAS comfortable. Ice maker was jammed. The hot water was TOO hot, and it was very difficult to control the shower flow. Poor lighting in the bed rooms. The furniture was so so and in general the unit needs updating. The rental office did reply quickly to our call regarding the concerns but had no solution for the dryer which was a huge issue when you are staying at a beach condo. Access to the beach was easy and close by and there were a number of great restaurants to go to and even walk to in some cases. I would not rent this unit again. I would rent in the area and even the building if another, nicer unit was available.

Extra charges

Condo was nice, very clean. Had to pay extra $60. For parking an extra car across the street, only one car allowed per unit. Parking lot is very small. Almost ALL of beachfront is leased to Ike’s Rentals & you cannot place chairs or own umbrellas in front of theirs. Had to pay extra $60. For 2 days umbrella & chair rental to get front row ocean spot. We were told to go to end of lot first day if we wanted beach front, but you can’t use it, it is for jet ski & banana boat. Pool is small , 15 person capacity. Air conditioning went out for 8 hours on Saturday, manager was to bring us fans, never showed. Management texted us & asked us to change out batteries on thermostat, we did & it fixed the problem. They could not find a “vendor” to come out to fix it. If we had not fixed it we would have been without air all night. We had a handicapped veteran with us(my brother). He had to take sponge baths as unit is not handicapped accessible. Won’t stay again. VRBO charges $143. Fee & does nothing.

A great place to get away

This hidden Gem was awesome. The Beach front view was fantastic. The rooms were clean and not outdated. Pool was small but a great place to hangout. The only thing that we wished the condo property had was a grill area. Would have loved to throw some steaks on and have dinner on the balcony.
