Conveniently located and very clean

Conveniently located and very clean. The apartment was well stocked with towels, dishes, pots and pans — everything you need. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and blankets. We were not there for vacation but it was nice to take long morning walks on the beach.

This house has no A/C which we knew going into it, but no A/C turned out to be unbearable. When I contacted the host about getting more fans I got an AI response offering me a link to rent more fans. To be fair a few fans were included, but they were so dirty and ineffective it was laughable. After paying well over 6000 for the week I think it’s ridiculous more money is required to rent fans just to be able to sleep. We had several family members who rented nearby and when they visited could NOT believe how uncomfortable it was. I can’t recommend this location even to someone I don’t like. It was almost impossible to sleep. Maybe it would work in the winter.

Lovely, quiet and close to the beach!

Loved this place! It was chilly when we arrived and turned out the pilot lights in the heater were out. One call and it was fixed immediately by super friendly service guys. Highly recommended!

Should Have Stayed Here Sooner

Left my terrible B&B down the street and came to this one and it was like night & day. I was confused how to start the heater and open the side door and maintenance was there first thing the next morning! Right when I walked in it smelled sooooo clean! It was also really spacious and had a great big living area for watching football! Great place!

Very nice rental just a short walk from the beach. Provided chairs and towels were excellent. Everything was very clean and the master bed was very comfortable. I really liked the access to a grill. Make sure to bring your own spices as there is only salt, pepper, and olive oil provided. The garage parking was required as parking is almost impossible to find. The directions for the garage entrance wasn’t clear but I called and someone answered and guided me through it. You have to get out of the car, access the side door of the property, enter the garage from the door and manually open the garage from inside. I stayed alone so this was cumbersome pulling out the car then getting out to walk around to close the garage. Walking to restaurants or other shops took about 10-15 minutes but it would have been a long walk to access Balboa Island so I wish I stayed closer to most of the shops. Otherwise, If you’re looking for a nice beach trip this is a great spot.

Great location for a family vacation

Family of five- 2 adults and 3 children under 13. Check-in process was smooth, communication with host was professional, friendly and fast!There were many small issues we contacted the manager’s office about and they fixed everything the days we messaged. The condo doesn’t have a lot of character - that’s not necessarily a ding but more of a heads up for future occupants. It definitely feels like you are staying at a nice motel by the beach. Parking is a nightmare (forewarned in the description). The garage is shared so very tight space - watch your head as you enter the garage when it’s fully occupied. The home was crisp and clean and finally a rental with comfortable beds!!! No AC but there are ceiling fans. We slept with fans on and the windows and bedroom doors open because it got so stuffy and it’s not even summer. All of that said: this place is an absolute bargain for the proximity to the sand. You get your own place to park, you can hear the waves from the front door, the locals are fairly tolerant (understandable - almost the entire block is rentals and people are coming and going all week), and the management company is really on top of things. Everything went so smoothly, we would absolutely stay here again.
