We do make sure that the photos show there are stairs to get to the unit and this is listed as a second floor unit, but perhaps this is something you overlooked when booking. Carolyn I don't know how I could have made it any clearer that we have zero control over the parking rules in this complex or any other complex where we have rentals. The rules are dictated and enforced by the HOA as I told you when you demanded to speak to a supervisor. The owners that live full time in the complex can be very overly zealous about people having a parking pass in their vehicles and they will call to tow vehicles regardless of how many available spots there are. As I also explained, they have recently hired a monitor whose job is to check cars for passes. If I could have simply given you a pass I certainly would have but again I have no control over how many passes we are given nor do I have control over the rules. We simply follow the rules given to us and make sure each guest also know those rules. In addition it is clearly stated in the listing how many parking spots each unit has so it is perplexing when guests get upset about a parking situation they knew about when booking. Would you have preferred that I didn't make a 'big deal' out of this and let you run the risk of being towed?
