In the commune of Méry-ès-Bois, Cocoonr/Book&Pay Agency offers you this charming 300 m² house with pond for rent, which can accommodate up to 15 guests. It features two living rooms (with fireplace), a fully-equipped kitchen, six bedrooms, four bathrooms and a 32,766 m² garden. Wifi included, we're waiting for you !

The accommodation is composed as follows :

First floor
A 22 m² entrance hall leads to :
- A 44 m² living room overlooking the large lawn and pond. This room is equipped with 3 sofas, tables and armchairs. An open fireplace will enhance your evenings.
- A large 56 m² living room with parquet flooring, billiards table, games tables and large club armchairs in front of the fireplace. With its 4 windows, this room is bright and airy.
- A 31 m² dining room with a large table seating 14.
- A 22 m² fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob...
- Separate toilet and washbasin.
- Large cupboards for coats, games, cleaning materials.

Second floor
The landing and corridor lead to :
- 7 m² bathroom with bathtub, WC
- A 19 m² master suite with queen-size bed (160 x 200), closet, table, bedside tables and chairs. Adjoining bathroom with bathtub and 11 m² dressing room.

Exterior:
- The house is set in a clearing in the middle of around 30 hectares of woodland with a beautiful pond of over one hectare.
The house is oriented North/South, which gives it excellent sunshine thanks to its large windows and glass doors.
The pond is not fenced, and children are the responsibility of their parents. Swimming is not permitted in the pond. Garden furniture is available to make the most of fine weather.

The house is in a very pleasant, quiet setting (no neighbors). A small village grocery store, hairdresser, bar and garage are 2 km away. 7 km from a mini-market, bank, pharmacy, garage, bar, restaurant, hairdresser, police station and 18 km from all amenities. Horse-riding club less than 2 km away.

Activities :
Méry-ès-Bois is one of the largest communes in the Cher department, with many footpaths. The commune is in the Sologne region, with its beautiful flora and fauna.
- In season, you can go to the bellowing.
- The nearby town of Aubigny-sur-Nère offers a medieval market every Saturday morning, and the Franco-Scottish fêtes around July 14th are an unforgettable experience.
- The vineyards of Sancerre, Menetou-Salon, Pouilly, Quincy and Reuilly are close by, offering a host of pleasant outings.
- Bourges is only 27 km away, with its cathedral, and in summer, the "nuits bleues" (blue nights) tour takes you through the historic past of this beautiful city by night.
- The châteaux of the Loire (Chambord, Chenonceaux, ....) are all within a day's drive.
- The ZooParc de Beauval (4th most beautiful zoo in the world) is 1 hour away.
- The accommodation is 11 km from Nançay, which boasts a golf course, an accrobranche park, the Capazza gallery, the Pôle des étoiles...
- L'étang du puy is 30 km from the accommodation.

Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park in front of or to the side of the house.

For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful:
- Vierzon (from Paris) and Bourges train stations are about 1/2 hour away.
- On site, cars are essential: the village with its small grocery store is 2 km away.
- Second-hand bicycles are available from a professional rental firm (for ages 12 and up).
- Orly airport is 2h00 away.

- Swimming prohibited in the pond.
- Fishing possible under certain conditions.
- Free Wifi available.
- The fireplace is functional, and wood for the first flambé is provided.
- Pets welcome free of charge. Only one pet per stay.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparation of accommodation for future visitors. Please leave in a clean and tidy condition and clean appliances after use.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (rental and payment to be made with our partner on site). Rates given are indicative and subject to change by our partner.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.
