Comfortable stay

Perfect Panama Stay

Coming from GA we’ve been all over the panhandle for vacation over the years. We think we’ve found a condo we want to stick with! The location, the quiet gated community (and very friendly neighbors), very fast communication with the owner, EXTREMELY CLEAN… the list goes on. The golf cart was also such a nice extra even though the walk to the beach was so quick anyway. We loved our stay :)

Clean and modern

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. We liked that it was close to the beach, and the golf cart came in handy. We liked that there were lots of extras, like beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys....anything you could need for the beach. The kids enjoyed the heated swimming pools. Would stay here again!

Amazing Condo with the sweetest and attentive owners

We've stayed in Gulf Highlands twice now. This rental was clean, cute and updated! The hosts were quick to reply. Will def stay here again! Great place! So cute and a perfect location! Loved having a golf cart! Still a quick walk to the beach without one. My family had an amazing week!

This was a great place to stay!! Very clean, very well taken care of, all new appliances & bedding & couches. Everything you need to make a week trip down to the sand chairs & sand toys for the kids! My husband and I were very impressed with the grounds of Gulf Highlands along with the golf cart included with the room! The mutiple pools were clean and the beach access was very convenient. The property manager was amazing to communicate with. She always answered within minutes and was willing to answer any and all questions I had being I was a first time visitor to the area. Highly 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Love Salty Kisses!

Salty Kisses is a great place to stay!! The townhome is updated, clean, comfortable and includes everything you could need and more (fully stocked kitchen, golf cart, beach chairs, ez up, tennis raquets and putt putt clubs and balls). It is literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. We were there for a baseball tournament and it was a short drive to the Publix Sports Park. Betsy was the best! She was quick to answer our questions and made sure we knew she was there if we needed anything. We will be booking Salty Kisses again next summer if we return for the baseball World Series tournamant!

Absolutely loved our stay and our hosts were always helpful and kind. The pictures do not do this place justice. The living room had plenty of space on the couch for our wntire family. The kitchen has everything you need and a dining table. Having a washer and dryer was extremely helpful as well. The patio was nice and having all the beach necessities was great. Using the golf cart around the complex was fun,you could drive it up to the front to be super close to the beach, but the beach is a really quick walk either way. The 2nd bedroom having 2 full size beds worked great for our kids and the master bed was SOO comfy! Everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we found a wet rug in the upstairs bathroom and damp towels in the linen closet. The bedroom floors were covered in sand, and we encountered a massive cockroach in the laundry room and then one under the sofa when sweeping sand. We also discovered mouse poop in the bathroom drawers downstairs and dirty walls and baseboards near the kitchen. To top it off, there were clothes and chewed up underwear left behind by previous guests. Our kids were so freaked out by the underwear, they refused to sleep in the beds upstairs so they spent the week on the downstairs couch. Overall, our week experience was disappointing, and I cannot say we will be back to this property or resort. We have stayed many times in Florida, between Destin and Panama City and this was by far the filthiest place we have stayed at with some of the rudest people we have ever encountered at the pool, that claimed to live in the resort area.

I'm so sad to read this review! Please read our other reviews! This is not at all reflective of our property! On day one I had to reach out to this person because neighbors notified me that our renters were "smoking out" the neighborhood smoking marijuana from the back porch. I had to reach out to let them know that our property is non-smoking and that we can't have that. Unfortunately, I think this review reflects our non smoking policy and not the cleanliness. We've never had a complaint about cleanliness and nearly everything in our unit is brand new.

Do not stay here!

Sometime this month ill do a review on you tube. Search for gulf highlands review or leslie lane review. Gulf highlands is beautiful. Im going to give u one example of what happened. They tried to fine me 500 for smoking in condo. I finally was able to get a screen shot of cleaner text saying unit doesnt smell like smoke and even the granddaughter went the next day before new guest checked in and it smelled good. Than three days later. Prob coaching. I find out cleaner said well come to think of it it does smell like stale smoke. Fishy! How is that when a new guest is checked in??? Believe me this is only one example. And im sure their reply will be filled with more lies. Just search you tube by nov 2021 and ill show it all. Ps. Comdo had someones blood print on toliet. Floors where very dirty. Black feet walking first night. Other stuff was minor. We told them at check in and thank gosh we took pics at check out. Thats all i say. Thank Gosh for pics.

The entire ordeal with this person has been a nightmare. Please refer to EVERY other review of our condo. This has been absolutely heartbreaking. My husband contacted this guest at checkout to notify, with pictures, that our house keeper sent messages/pictures of the horrendous condition our unit was left. Our couches had deep stains, there was sugar covering and melted onto our stove, there were stains on the walls and dirt on our brand new recliner chair (this chair was just added before her stay, she was the first to ever stay after it was added) and stains on our floors. We have had to schedule for the entire unit to be repainted, furniture had to be professionally cleaned and our house keeper had to spend 12 hours getting the unit ready for the next guest. This person was supposed to check out at 10:00 am and even lied to our house cleaner and said "she was our family so she didn't have to follow our check out instructions." After my husband sent her a text informing her of the damage and that we would pursue her damage protection policy to get our unit back to its condition before her arrival she began an insane course of sending 100s of text messages with the most vulgarity I have ever read. This entire situation has been a nightmare and required so much effort to return our precious home away from home to how beautiful it was before she checked in. I can assure you that our home was in pristine condition on her arrival. We have never had a single complaint about the cleanliness of our home. Everything in it is brand new. This lady's behavior has been clearly insane throughout the entire process even to include our maintenance department having to show her how to charge the golf cart because she lost the golf cart at 2am and text us all night that the golf cart was "broken." Upon inspection by maintenance, it was found that she plugged the charger into the extension cord but never into the golf cart. Like I said the entire ordeal is incredibly shocking. A negative review to top off the most appalling stay is even more devastating but definitely par for the course with what we have been through with this person. Our unit has been rented every week since May after we bought and remodeled it and everyone has raved about how wonderful it is, how many things I did to try to make the stay extra special and commented that they will definitely be back. The host of the property was very kind and informative. The townhouse was beautiful and clean, it had everything we needed for the stay!! I was so happy and will rent from here again. The pool was nice and clean, heated. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. It was like being at home but away. Good neighborhood that is gated so we were away from most of the spring break craziness. Mostly family oriented. Thank you so much for everything!

We instantly fell in love with the family atmosphere at Gulf Highlands. We loved the clubhouse, all of the pools, the amenities and especially that you can park right at the front door without dealing with elevators. We also love how golf cart friendly it is!
