The house is very well maintained and well appointed! We needed nothing additional for our stay! The hosts are very friendly and approachable with wonderful communicationThe 4 large beds mean you could comfortably stay even if you shared a room! The kitchen is very large and though we didn’t require it the large laundry room was very nice!

Great place to stay! Convenient location albeit right on the main road so all that comes with that. Kitchen is spacious and useful, nice dining and living room areas. Deck is great. Luxurious main bathroom with nice tub and fancy shower centrally located to all 4 bedrooms. Everything was clean and convenient and the owners responded to messages quickly. Definitely high on my list for places to stay if I return to the area which also highly recommended.

Clean very comfortable house. Great kitchen. Nice patio/lounge area. Close proximity to the Falls, Woodstock. We went to Opus 40 and explored this beautiful location and rock sculptures. Highly recommend this adventure. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful comfortable house

We had a very enjoyable 4 day family vacation in August. The house is very central to all attractions and conveniently located next to a well stocked convenience store. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, and many small conveniences. Kids loved the house as well.

Great place near Hunter

The house was great, spacious and warm! Beautiful kitchen made cooking for the group of 8 easy and fun. Bedrooms were as described and having a king in 2 rooms was nice as we had 2 families so each couple got a king. Location is really great, easy 10 min drive to Hunter mountain and super close to the cute town! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Catskills Getaway

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property over thanksgiving break. Elaine and Chris have kept the home immaculately clean. They were easily accessible and they had a detailed welcome book with information about the home and the neighborhood which was extremely useful. Great restaurant recommendations, location is just minutes from Hunter mountain.

Great House in Haines Falls

We had a wonderful experience at the house in Haines Falls. It’s immaculate, has everything you need with extra touches like wine and snacks, firewood for the fire pit, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and pillows. Truly, I can’t say enough good things. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Loved it!

I came here with my parents and in-laws (and our dogs). Everyone had a great time! We love playing corn hole in the backyard and having a closed off outdoor space to grill and let the dogs roam freely. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, cups and cooking equipment which we loved. The upstairs shower was very luxurious. Thank you for helping us create lovely memories xo

Best Chanukah Vacation ever!

This house is right out of the books, exactly as described, extremely cozy, comfortable and super clean! Just the place for an escape:6 out of the hustle and bustle of city life. The Jaccuzi alone is a mini vacation! Location could not be better; next to a fully stocked gas station open till 11pm, 4 minute drive to everywhere else, skiing just 8 min away! A few Shuls within walking distance too. The hosts are exceptionally nice and answer your questions quickly. We absolutely loved our stay there and hope be back real soon :)

Well maintained and spacious

My family and I rented the house so we could go skiing at Hunter Mountain for a weekend. The house was very well maintained and organized, we couldn't be happier with it. The owners are very good at communicating clearly and are responsive if you have any questions. The house is also very spacious. It has 2 king beds which was nice to see and can accommodate up to 9 people. I would definitely stay at this house again if we're looking to spend more time in the area.

Lovely, well-appointed house

We enjoyed this house; it is exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 adults, with enough bedrooms for privacy and big spaces to be together. We cooked several meals in the big kitchen, which had everything we needed. We played games around the big dining table and enjoyed movies in the living room. There were lots big, thick towels in the bathrooms. The beds were comfy with plenty of blankets. We also enjoyed the area, even though it was bitter cold during our stay.

Conveniently located and wonderfully appointed home

Elaine and Chris' place had everything we needed for a great weekend stay with friends. It's conveniently located near several hiking trails and lakes we visited. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our not so simple full spreads for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The patio and the den were great places to just hang out. And it was a great time spending evenings by the fire pit making snores. Each bedroom has either a queen or king bed. We would definitely return !

Elaine and Chris were fantastic hosts. They have adorable framed instructions near all items that need instructions. The house has everything you could need. We did a lot of cooking while we were there and the kitchen is totally lovely to work in. I have to say, everyone loved the shower! The home is large and great for groups/family gatherings. The wide driveway is large enough for multiple cars, eliminating having to move other cars to get yours out. There is also a Stewarts Market conveniently located directly next door. This house is close to town for shopping or bars, close to Hunter Ski Mt. and Kaaterskill Falls (which was amazing to see frozen!). One night, we ate at the Hunter Mountain Brewery for the best burger around! Elaine and Chris were super helpful when we requested a late departure making our stay even better. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Elaine and Chris for making our stay so perfect!

Clean, cozy and convenient stay with great hosts

Our group of 5 (4 adults, 1 under 2yo) enjoyed our stay greatly. The house was exactly as listed, even cleaner than the pictures, and it was stocked with everything you needed - plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, well stocked kitchen, even a high chair for the little and snacks/wine from the host. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and super helpful - even offering us a late check out. The check in and out process was very easy and reasonable. The location is very conveninent, near a gas station and super market...couple minutes out of main street tannersville and a few more minutes from beautiful hunter mountain -- additionally all of our mini trips were nearby (woodstock and phoenicia 30 mins ea). Highly recommend

Best place for a birthday celebration in the mountains

Myself and a few friends recently stayed here to celebrate my birthday and to go skiing. It was such a memorable, amazing trip and staying here felt just as cozy as if we were in our own homes. Elaine always answered any questions within a day or two and she was wonderful in supplying everything we would need to enjoy our stay! While enjoying the fire pit we even saw a shooting star! Every little detail, from different kinds of art to games that were supplied, really were the finishing touches. We will definitely be making this a yearly trip! Thank you again, Elaine!

Elaine and Chris and the property reached far beyond our expectations!

The house was pristine and beautiful. Elaine and Chris were always available for anything we needed and so graciously! The place was fully stocked with whatever we could've dreamed of and more..... We could've left so many things home...... This home is centrally located with all attractions within minutes away. We had the most amazing time and we sure would want to come back soon. Thank you so much Elaine and Chris!!!!

President's Weekend Trip

My family & another family rented the house for the 4 day weekend so we could go skiing at Hunter Mountain. The house was very convenient to get to Hunter. The house was very clean and had all the essentials needed. The beds are super comfortable and all of the linens, towels and blanket that are left to use were really nice, like new. The hosts communicated with use throughout the weekend and left us a nice welcome treat. I would recommend this rental & would love to return if we do another trip to Hunter! Thank you!
