The house is beautiful! Great space for large groups to all mingle in the living areas with enough space for everyone to have their own space and room/bathroom. We were visiting on a work trip but would love to come back with kids and grandkids. The Host was very responsive. Highly recommend.

This house is beyond amazing. We come to Bend frequently and so have been searching for a place that is luxurious and practical. I finally found it. I cannot say enough good things about the property. It is spacious, the kitchen make my chef’s heart happy, the linens are lovely, and the location is great. The pictures do not do it justice. Gnarnia is amazingly responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Excellent Mt. Bachelor property & excellent host

We loved this house, the layout, the trim, the furnishings, and all the extra kitchen amenities, and of course the location! It was perfect for our spring skiing trip to Mt. Bachelor, as well as being close to downtown Bend and the Deschutes River. The next time we visit Bend we will definitely be staying here if it is available. Thank you for everything and making our trip a memorable one!

Simply amazing

This place is amazing!! The location is perfect for both skiing and heading into town. Plenty of open space for hanging out as a family but plenty of room for privacy as well. Top notch appliances and a perfect kitchen for cooking and having large family dinners. I cannot recommend this place enough. Check in and check out was so smooth. I highly recommend staying here for a great and comfortable time in Bend.

The perfect vacation rental in Bend, OR

We recently stayed 8 nights at this beautiful property and loved everything about the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. There was plenty of seating for dining indoors or outside on the covered patio and a large sofa with plenty of space for everyone to sit. The house was located just a short walk from the Deschutes River trail and close to several nice golf courses. We look forward to staying here again.

Excellent home in Bend, Oregon

The house was just as listed and exceeded our expectations. Every member had their own well-appointed bedroom and bathroom. The home had every thing we could need and was spotless. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked and the hot tub was clean. The host was very responsive with all communication and check in/out was seamless. I highly reccomend this home for your stay in beautiful Bend Oregon.

A little work trip with a lot of fun!

We came for a work conference and wanted to stay together for team time. This house worked perfectly for us to be together, but also for everyone to have their own space. The house was spotless, stocked with everything we could have needed. The place felt very homey, yet fancy and spacious. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!!

8/10 – Gut

Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Lage
The house is impressive: 16-20 foot ceilings in the main rooms, lots of windows, big spaces. Mostly very well furnished with good-quality furniture, lots of cooking pans and serving dishes. A good place to host people that you want to impress or maybe a wedding party, etc. The main downside was that it was incorrectly described as accommodating 12 people comfortably (if they sleep in pairs) with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. One of the 6 bedrooms is actually the office, a small room with a computer & workstation and a pull-out bed. Not comfortable at all. The individual bathroom for that bedroom/office space is only 1/2 bath (no shower) at the other end of the hallway. It's an impressive house for 10 people, not 12. We had 12 guests and it was rather distressing to have to choose who had to take it.The "Casita" bedroom is semi-private with an outside door, which is great if you have pets. But the interior door that connects it to the house goes through a closet, a bathroom, and a bedroom, which is awkward, especially if it's raining. Also, the outdoors was not very attractive, with scraggly bushes and bare dirt between the house and tennis courts. However, it was very nice to have a hot tub and fire pit, and it's just a short walk to free disc golf, miniature golf, and a lovely nature walk. Inn of Seventh Mountain is in walking distance, too.Overall, a mix of very good and not-so-good. It's a great place for 10 people or less. Just be aware of the limitations.

Thank you for the kind words Craig. We sincerely appreciate your stay with us at the Deschutes retreat. I would like to note that we make clear in the listing description that the 6th bedroom is an office with a pullout sleeper. We also note that 5 of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, as well as describing the access to the Casita (which is covered between the home and the door to the Casita, so rain/snow is not really an issue). There are limitations as to how to list a home on the site, that is why we are very explicit in the description. Lastly, we are located in the Deschutes National Forest, in the High Desert. The area between our home and the tennis courts is just the natural landscape and the bike pump track.

Terrific House in a Great Location

We stayed at this property in January 2022. The amenities were clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen was completely furnished with all necessary equipment and utensils. The extra fridge in the garage was a nice touch. The Fire Pit and Grill were easy to use and worked well. The beds were comfortable. Additionally, the house provided easy access to Mt. Bachelor and to Bend. This was the best Vrbo property we have stayed at so far, and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing House

Our stay at Bend was amazing. The house was more than we had hoped for. It was more of than large enough for two families to fit very comfortably. Every detail had been thought through. It was incredibly clean and the most amazingly stocked kitchen. The communication with Andrew was excellent. Always replied to emails quickly and happy to answer questions about the house. We will be back.

Wedding Week Celebration

We had such a fantastic time staying on this property! The house was perfect for our family and friends. It was very well stocked, we had everything we needed. There was plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and playing our lawn games on the spacious backyard lawn. The location was perfect as well. Andrew checked in with us, and was helpful when we were trying to find another house close to this one, as we had a lot of family visiting with us. He also was helpful finding a catering restaurant for our family game night. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Bend, OR vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home in Bend. The house is spacious, clean, and every bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, which was great for our family of 4 adults. We have been renting vacation homes for more than 20 years, and this was one of the best stocked homes we have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. The property managers are helpful and quick to respond to questions. There is so much to do in Bend! We enjoyed the restaurants, the breweries, the float down the river, the High Desert Museum, Tumalo Falls, and the Lava Butte at the Lava Lands Visitor Center. It's a short drive on the Cascade Highway to several lakes, (we visited Sparks Lake), and to Mt. Bachelor. We highly recommend taking a day trip to Tamolitch Falls Blue Pool and Crater Lake. Take one of the boat tours at Crater Lake. It's so easy to fill your days and then at night relax in the hot tub at the house.
