Recently Updated Vintage Island Beach Front home has 4 sleeping rooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy the charm of yesterday in this great family beach house located between Palm and Magnolia Avenues. Excellent Gulf views, steps to beautiful, white sandy beaches. Centrally located in the City of Anna Maria walking distance to many great Restaurants and Shops.  This home includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, several flat screen TV's, outside shower.  There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor each with a Queen size bed. There is a bathroom with tub/shower combo on the ground level as well.   Upstairs in the loft that faces the beach (3rd bedroom) there is a King Bed and 2 twin beds. The 4th bedroom located upstairs has 2 Twin beds. The 2nd bathroom is located upstairs and has a shower.

Non-Smoking Unit.      Wi-Fi and free long-distance calling in the U.S.

PET POLICY INFORMATION

There is a minimum $150 taxable pet fee per dog.
All pets require approval after booking. Non-aggressive breeds only.
*Be sure to indicate you have a pet, where you enter the number of guests.*

If approved, the fee will be added, and we'll confirm the new total with you before charging your card.

Finally, a quick reminder of our pet rules:
- Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
- The yard must be kept clean of waste.
- Excessive hair must be cleaned up prior to departure.

Everything about this place was great. Right across from the beach with a beautiful sunset that shine in through the windows. The location to shops and restaurants within walking distance was top notch. And let me just tell you about how comfortable the beds are, we all slept great! Definitely enough room for everyone to gather around in the kitchen in the living room and the back patio set. We had a fabulous vacation and can’t wait to do it again.

Best location in town!

Here you will find everything you need for a perfect family vacation. The location right across the beach is what we liked the most. The house has everything you need, several beds and the kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to prepare your meals. Beautiful place with gorgeous views

This is an awesome house. A blend of remodeled with modern amenities and old Florida style, especially in the upper level. Beds were comfy. The views from the large windows in the upstairs bedroom and the downstairs living room are amazing! Walk out your door and across a tiny, sparsely trafficked street, and you are on the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

Family Thanksgiving vacation

We all drove down to spend the week at the beach. It was the perfect beach house. 30 step and you are on the beach. The island has so many cute shops and great restaurants. You can walk to most of them. Best family vacation ever, we will be back. Everyone absolutely loved it.

Perfect location

This was our 4th visit to Anna Maria Island in the past 6 years and we always stay on this street. To me, it is simply the best place to be. This was our first time renting this house and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The old cottage charm is just what we are looking for when visiting the island. You are in walking distance to many great restaurants and shops, and of course most importantly you can take in the beautiful views of the Gulf every hour of the day. We loved it. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Christmas on the Beach

We had a beautiful week stay with our family at this cute and well provisioned house. Our adult kids stayed in the house, and my husband and I stayed in the little apt. above the garage. We spent Christmas Eve on the beach, had many great family walks and meals in the kitchen. It was easy to walk to town, but still felt pretty private.

Fall Break 2023

This was a last minute beach trip and this home was perfect for us. Whole house to ourselves. No buildings or major roadways between our front door and the beach. Although an older home, this reminded us of grandma's house, very comfortable, a little remodeling has brought the kitchen up to date and there is lots of room for a large family. Plenty of parking in the driveway. Beach toys, chairs, and a wagon on site was very handy. Restaurants only a block away.

Perfect location

Best part of the property is the location. Cottage is a good way to discribe this property. Our party consisted of 2 families with 5 teenagers. The apartment above the garage was a must for the 3 teenager girls especially due to the bathroom situation. Biggest con of this property is the upstairs bathroom. Would have loved pool :) Communication from property management was excellent. Property is in an excellent location. Overall rate this property 4,5.

Nice vacation overall

Location on the isalnd itself was great. It was steps to beach as advertised, but it was right across the street from a public drop off pick up strip so lots of foot traffic and commotion during daytime hours. Outside of home nice, 1st floor very nice, 2nd floor was a bit outdated, small, and had some termite issues. Fran Maxon real estate was great to deal with. Overall a plesant and fun stay, but for the fee paid i expected a little more from the interior of the home.

We are sorry to hear about the foot traffic--March is our busiest time of year and even though there is no parking allowed on the street it appears beachgoers are using the street to drop off their beach gear. We will relay your comments about the house. The cottage is historic and the property owners have owned the property a long time. Each year they make improvements when the budget allows. Despite these issues we hope you will consider visiting Fun in the Sun again.

Red tide

This is a lovely home in a great location. The beach is clean and beautiful. BUT I highly doubt I will visit the gulf coast again. The last two days of our trip you literally could not breathe outside due to Red Tide. I thought that had we come one week later, we would have wasted thousands of dollars for nothing. Wonderful area but can’t afford the risk.

Beautiful spot, lovely sunsets and great beach.

The house was large and spacious but lacked a few specifics. It could benefit from a good cleaning as there was dust, dead bugs in the window sills, kitchen cabinets had dirt/ food in them and mold in the upstairs shower and curtain which needs to be replaced immediately. We were invaded by ants on the first day as well. The upstairs bedrooms could use a coat of white paint as well. Overall and perfect spot and easy to relax in.

House on the beach

The location is perfect, right across from the beach. The sand is beautiful and white and the water is calm and clean. The house is old, they renovated recently the downstairs but upstairs feels like an attic that was cleaned out and beds were put there. Everything is old, beds, furniture... Downstairs looks decent and nice. Kitchen has everything needed, although we did wash all the utensils and plates before using because they were not very clean. There are beach towels provided and there are some beach gear in the garage, but we did not use. The washer and dryer are also in the garage but there is no laundry pods or detergent. There are no shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap. Had to buy everything which was a waste, cause we okay stayed for a few nights. Communication was so-so. First day I messaged them and they got back to me the second day. Never answered the question about the soap. there are 2 separate AC systems but they need to be cleaned out because everyone who stayed upstairs got their noses stuffed, probably an allergen. The view from upstairs is breathtaking tho! Can't dispute that. We stayed end of October 2023 and the house next door was renovating so there was construction and banging all day. And these houses are thin so you can hear everything loudly. But of your goal is to be on the beach all day everyday than that won't bother you. Overall, I would stay there again, but make sure I bring soap and all that plus laundry detergent :)

Thank you for your review Annamarie. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location and beach and that you would return to this property again. The views are amazing and the Sunsets are spectacular! We do send out 2 emails prior to arrival with a list of the starter supplies. You are correct- the starter supplies do not include shampoo, conditioner or body wash. I am sorry to hear that you did not have laundry pods included in your starter supply. I do see in our communication trail that you contacted the office via text message on a no-reply text communication from us after hours on Saturday. I see that we got back to you on Sunday with information. We will investigate your comments and relay them to the property owner as well. We are sorry to hear that there was work being done next door to the property---unfortunately, there is lots of rehab and new construction going on all over the Island. This is temporary and hopefully it will be done soon. We hope you can visit again soon!

Location Good, Property Needs Improvement

Landscaping overgrown and outside simply not attended to. Indoor cleaning and tidiness needs to be addressed. Two bathrooms both had mildewed shower curtains. Will not stay again nor recommend.
