Weekend getaway to Delray Beach

We are Floridians from the Melbourne area and love taking weekend getaways to Delray Beach. We have stayed in many rentals in the area and this one was perfect. Great location close to Atlantic Ave, clean, cute, plenty of amenities and the pool was perfect. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful homes. Recommend and advise you try this rental!

Extended Stay

Great space and prefect location for our 2 1/2 month stay while we explored Delray Beach and looked for more permanent residence. Towards the end of our stay we had all 4 units and had a great time around the pool visiting with our grown children.

Our best VRBO experience ever

We loved everything about this rental - from the location to the cleanliness to how it was decorated, the layout and the amenities. The housekeeping staff was excellent and the property manager very communicative and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

House has a great location, but the inside was sparsely furnished. The picture featured wasn’t what it looked like. No coffee table, tiny rug, and uncomfy couch made for an uncomfy wknd. The bathroom towels weren’t a matching set…similar gray towels bought at different times. It was clean and the ac worked fine. Little bit of a let down

Delray Fun

This unit was the perfect place for our 5 day stay in Delray. A few minutes walk to all the restaurants and shops on Atlantic and a little further to the beach. Everything in the unit was exactly like the pictures. Clean and beautiful. Kitchen was new and had everything you’d need for a few meals. The owner was great and we couldn’t have been happier. We will be back!

Luxury? Not So Much

If the "code" hadn't activated the lockbox, I would have wondered if I was at the proper address. In this case, pictures are quite deceiving. This is NOT a property that could even be remotely classified as luxurious--- rickety, run down, a questionable neighborhood. The plus side: the Property Manager was very considerate and moved dates for us.

I have worked with this guest for over a year. I have adjusted the reservation 2X with no penalties and have refunded guest. The pictures on this site of the property are exactly as the property looks. The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood (one I also live in) with classic Florida homes and new houses that are valued over $1 million dollars. The review history of this property is positive. I rated her a 1 star as a guest as her correspondence to me was demeaning and threatening. As the old saying goes...you can't please everyone.

Delray vacation

The property grounds are great and great location. The actual apartment needs a lot of updating: - mattress not the appropriate size for bed frame and moves in every direction possible - the appliances are really outdated and can’t use dishwasher( missing small inside door for detergent) - missing silverware ( only one big spoon) - pots and pans were really sticky and low quality - low quality polyester bedsheets - bathroom really small ( shower had calcified and barely working, toilet doesn’t flush properly, bathroom window really poor condition) - overall lack of quality and maintenance in the furnishings and available goods

Raluca, I am sorry that you were not happy with your stay. I wish you had contacted me regarding the issues as you and I had spoken before. The appliances are only 4 years old so outdated doesn't seem appropriate. The toilet was just fixed last month but again if there was an issue I would have had the plumber come in and check it out if you had only notified me. I do appreciate the input with the other issues that will be looked into.

My review

First impression was poor but it I'mproved slightly! The problem was the prior tenants screwed up the TV reception and we could not watch the Olympics very well although Rita and her son tried hard to fix it. Maybe we're too old for VRBO properties. We made the best of it and thanks to the Property Mgr. and her son for trying to solve the TV problem.

Great location, 2-1/2 blocks from Atlantic Avenue. Great Privacy with relaxing secluded swimming pool. Perfect one-bedroom getaway for one or two people. (Living room couch is not a sleeper sofa.)

Comfortable and convenient

The property was in a quiet residential area but convenient to everything and we had a very comfortable stay overall. Our son enjoyed the air mattress. We didn’t utilize the pool as much as we had hoped because it wasn’t lit enough in the evening and the water temperature was a bit low. But the Delray Beach was nearby and very nice, plus the town had family friendly Christmas event so we didn’t mind it so much.

Clean and Close!

This property is well taken care of. The pool is so clean! Within watching distance of food and shopping. The beach would be a bit of a wall but only 5 minute drive! We are early morning risers for the beach so parking was easy. Really amazing stay and would definitely stay there again!

We had an awesome time!

My daughter wanted to visit Delray as a hraduation trip (for High school). She really enjoyed herself. This prime location near the beach was perfect. Checking in and out was a breeze. Other occupants from the other units were nice and respectful as well.

Great location!!

There was a little glitch in the app that notifies the cleaning team that a guest has checked out so the place wasn't clean when we arrived but Lori took care of it right away and compensated us appropriately. She had the cleaning team there in no time and by the time we took a nice walk and hung out by the pool for a short time the place was clean as a pin! Great location just 2 blocks from Atlantic Ave where all the great restaurants are. A very nice little villa with heated saltwater pool. Very relaxing.
