This is a nicer house in person than the photos online, we were all very surprised at how spacious the upstairs was, we all had some privacy which was great. The front patio was our primary hang out and it was perfect. I will rent this house again for sure.

Great stay for our family. Buzzing noise coming from bathroom off of the kitchen, communicated with owner so hopefully that will get fixed Needed extra throw blankets for use. Great to have beach chairs, toys for use during our stay. Definitely would recommend this location for a family get away

This place is just lovely! It's really roomy and comfortable. Much bigger than it looks from the outside. Very well maintained and well stocked. Beautifully decorated and landscaped. Whole house fan worked well to keep the place cool. 2 car garage is a plus. Location is great for walking, and ideal for driving to all of San Diego's treasures. Bob is a great communicator, sent very thorough emails ahead of time, so we had very few questions. He was also immediately available when we ran into a snag with the TV, and it was quickly solved. We were very comfortable and would stay here again!

This was our 4th year staying at Lucy's Beach House. Bob is great to work with-he answers any questions quickly. The house is big enough to comfortably house 10 people-6 adults and 4 children and 1 small dog. Thursday's food truck fest is right down the street and fun for all. The beach is a quick walk from the house. There are plenty of toys for the kids, boogie boards, and a surfboard to take to the beach. The area is easy to walk around-the library is a block away and more importantly Handel's Ice Cream is across the street from the library. We will be back!

This was our 2nd visit to Lucy's Neach House with the family and it did not disappoint. The area was experiencing record heat, so the fact that the house now has "whole house" fans helped to cool it down after the sun went down. Bob was very quick to respond to any questions I had, even though he was traveling overseas. House is very comfortable for a large group with every amenity you could possibly need. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance, and we always time our visits to take advantage of the Sunset Market on Thursday night with lots of unique food booths and live music. Access to the beach and pier are a short 6 minute walk from the house. We loved our 2nd visit and have already reserved the house for the same time next year!

The house was great - large and inviting with everything you could want on a short vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are great dining options. Our family loved it! And the location is perfect - you would never have to move your car.

Lucy's Beach House was perfect for our family! There's plenty of space to spread out, and we love the front patio and rooftop deck. It's also an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. And we appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and the wagon that hauls it all.

This place is a gem, very spacious and clean, and the host is super communicating with us and making sure we had a great stay, including early checkin and late checkout! Almost every room has a tv which makes it nice when you stay in and just want to relax. Kitchen is also well equipped with plenty of plates, utensils, and crockpots! Location is great, and there are plenty of games/puzzles for my brother’s kids (the room with 2 queen beds was perfect for them and their kids since it had a new bathroom also), and the master bedroom/bathroom are huge.

Great location!

Wonderful property and perfect location. Just a few suggestions… shampoo/ conditioner and soap would have been great, games for adults, and blankets/ throws for the cool evenings. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Hi Melissa, Thank you for the nice review and the suggestions. We had bags of shampoo, conditioner and soaps in the supply cabinet, but apparently one of the previous guests must have taken them all. We also did have blankets in the living room, they might have ended up somewhere else in the house, I ll have to go search for them. Board games etc... is a good idea, I will defenitely look into that.

Lucy’s beach house

We had a great week at Lucy’s beachouse. It was very clean and extremely well stocked! EVERYTHING we needed fir our stay was there including beach supplies and a perfectly stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay there again!

We love Lucy’s!

This was our second year at Lucy’s beach house. As always, the house was clean and ready for us to relax and enjoy our family vacation. The location is absolutely perfect. Just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants and shops. We are already looking forward to next time

Absolutely loved this house and location. We loved walking to the beach and to grab yummy food like donuts and coffee right around the corner. This property was perfect for our family and best friends to join. We had 9 and had plenty of space. We loved the extra thought that went into having beach supplies and a useableGarage. Lastly we loved that we could bring our fur babies along with us. We will look to stay here again when visiting!
