Lou Castel - ancien fort mediéval

We offer, in Le Clapier, the vestiges of an old medieval fort, built in the 13th century, of a surface of approximately 230 m ² and being able to accomodate to 8 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 40 m² with fireplace, separate equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Wifi, sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!

The accommodation is accessible by stairs and is composed as follows:

On the ground floor :
- A 40 m² living room with a fireplace (wood provided), corner sofa and dining area
- A kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, toaster, dishwasher, gas cooker...
- A chapel of about 40m² with a piano
- A bathroom with bath and WC
- A shower room with shower

On the 1st floor :
- Bedroom 1: two single beds that can be joined together to form a double bed
- Bedroom 2: two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed
- Bedroom 3: two single beds that can be joined together to form a double bed
- The mezzanine above the chapel also has two beds.
- In the tower : Two single beds
- A separate toilet

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, washing machine, baby bed, fan, ironing board and iron.

Outside :
- A terrace accessible from the kitchen and the living room will offer you a nice view over the courtyard and the roofs of the village.

The house is ideally located in Le Clapier, in an extremely quiet, rejuvenating and very pleasant environment.

Activities:
- Hiking (By downloading the application "Rando grands Causses" you will have at your disposal all the hiking routes that this wonderful nature offers).
- The Lake of Ceilhes at 7 km
- Templar and hospital sites of Larzac (30 min by car)

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you can park in the free public car park near the accommodation. Parking in front of the accommodation is possible while you unload your luggage.

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Ceilhes Roqueredonde station (6 min by car)
- Nearest airport: Montpellier airport (1h20 by car)

- The fireplace is functional, wood is provided
- Pets are allowed in the accommodation free of charge. Only one pet allowed per stay.
- The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean the appliances after use.
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the times indicated is subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. An additional fee may be requested.
