This recently renovated one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo on the 2nd floor of a low-density two-floor building features a fully equipped kitchen, a large step-in shower, and a washer and dryer. It offers an ocean view from the lanai for relaxing stays.

This condo has been redesigned for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen provides everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal for friends and family, or afternoon pupus. With extra living space on the large lanai and featuring both ocean and garden views, guests can feel relaxed and enjoy Maui's beauty.

This unit also has more than adequate wifi speed for video conferencing and working from “home".

The BBQ grill is just a short walk down the steps next to our observation deck, perched over the west-facing seawall. This is a fabulous spot to enjoy one of our amazing sunsets or watch the turtles swim by.
A low-density property, Maui Sands Seaside glows with the ambiance and charm of Old Hawaii. We have 20 units in a traditional 2-story building, in a park-like setting. Maui Sands Seaside shares ocean access with the sister property, Maui Sands, and a snorkel or swim in the ocean is a few steps away!

Please enjoy full use of #715 and the grounds of Maui Sands Seaside while you are here, except for owners' lockouts
You will find beach towels, chairs, coolers, a book trading library, and games for your use. Some snorkel gear may be available, but we recommend renting for the best fit and hygiene, ensuring you have everything needed for a fun beach day.
On the grounds of Maui Sands Seaside, you will find a sundeck and lounge chairs across the property's oceanfront lawn for sunbathing. There is also a BBQ at the bottom of the ocean-side stairs for guests and residents' use.
Please note this property does not have any shared pool access, but the proximity to the ocean makes it absolutely ideal!

Although we recommend renting a car to explore the island, Maui's bus service is available with stops along the road and just north and south of Lwr Honoapiilani Rd, making it easier to get around without a vehicle if desired.

*We have a check-in time of 5 pm and a check-out time of 11 am, unless prior arrangements have been made. We ask you to plan ahead, as we may not be able to allow early check-ins and late check-outs as often as we would like.
*We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and on-site staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned before you check in.
*This unit does have AC that is more than adequate to cool the space, and is located in the living room. There are both ceiling fans and floor fans in the living room and bedroom. Please note that, as Maui has some of the most expensive electricity in the US, we use a timer to mitigate costs.
*For check-ins on Christmas and Thanksgiving day, our cleaning service charges an additional holiday cleaning fee of $75.
*A change in tax rates may necessitate an additional charge.

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Sands. The little extras (a nicely stocked kitchen for example) were much appreciated. Great to have a washer / dryer. Very cleaned and cared for. Convenient location for activities around Maui. Mere steps from a lovely little section of beach. We hope to return!

Working vacation

We have stayed on this property before and love old school Maui on the west side. We came for work and love all the local businesses! We were bummed to hear about the market and the farmers market not open anymore! However, found great places to find what we love! Eating fish and great fruit! Awesome place!

Great condo and excellent location.

Condo was clean and the AC unit worked fine to cool down the space. A bit inconvenient when the exterminator came to spray one morning, but adequate warning was provided by signs posted 48 hrs before.

This condo is in a lovely location (walking distance to everything you need on a vacation) and we really enjoyed going to sleep to the ocean sounds. We will rent this condo again if we return to Maui.

Great place

This apartment has all the amenities needed for a perfect vacation. The garden view and short trip out the door to get to your private beach are perfect. The ocean is so close you have your very own sound machine every night. It is also a perfect location to get to downtown Lahaina, food trucks and a farmers market. Would stay again.

It is a nice condo, with a sliver of a view of the ocean from the lanai. If you like air conditioning, then this isn't the place for you. While the condo does have an air conditioner, it's on a timer, so the most you can have it running is 90 minutes before it shuts off. Fortunately, for us, once we got the windows opened up, it was cool enough at night. In the hotter months, the ocean breeze may not be enough to keep cool. It was nice, however, going to sleep to the sounds of the waves. The bedroom backs to the walkway, so anyone not being perfectly quiet as they walked by would wake us up. During low tide, we enjoyed walking along the beach and the rocks. The lawn chairs along the sea wall was a nice place to watch the sunset. We found a really good snorkel beach just a couple of stop lights south of us. The rather large damage deposit seems really out sized for a small one bedroom condo. We opted for the damage insurance, but that still sticks in my craw.

It was very clean and spacious. Lovely lanai. Not a great view at all and not in a great location. The picture on the advertised of this Ocean Front Property is taken from the adjacent resort. The brown building in the shot is this listed resort. Not able to get down to the beach as it shows in the picture either. Water was always too high so this must be a very old picture I would gather. To walk wasn't a nice area. Had to drive to get to any nicer area or larger beach.

Quiet, accessible and accommodating

We stayed at their place for about a week. The location was amazing, it was 10 seconds from the beach (5 if you're sprinting)! It was very private and quiet. Great place if you're looking to relax and get away from the busy hotels. That being said, it was very central as well. There were convenience stores, restaurants and bars just a hop, skip and a jump away. There was a famer's market not too far away where you can get fresh fruits and organic produce. Also, the on-site property manager (Heather) was very accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

It was awesome

This condo is a very beautiful place to stay. Its about 20 feet to the private beach and amazing views. My wife and I slept with the windows open, we could hear the crashing waves, it was relaxing. The inside of the condo was immaculate. The furniture is comfortable, the washer and dryer were a huge plus and all of the stores around there were in walking distance even the grocery store. If you are looking for a quick bite there is a fish market across the street which was decent but i recommend Java Jazz which is walking distance and has great customer service. Try the Fantapano OMG the best thing to ever enter my stomach lol. You can also rent snorkeling gear across the street very inexpensive.

Amazing,clean,comfortable, and breath taking beach access!

This was our first time in maui and renting a condo on vrbo. Heather was amazing. She was very informative, upfront, and quick to respond to all of our questions. She made us feel very comfortable in choosing this beautiful condo for our stay. I can not say how beautiful this condo is. It is private, close to snorkel rentals, a walk across the street to good eats, close to tourist attractions and many other beaches. The best part of the condo would have to be the private beach access. It beautiful in the morning as it is breathtaking upon the evening. We caught many sunsets while here on our short stay. Would recommend this condo in a heart beat.

Very nice condo at the ocean

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Sands. The beautiful tropical setting was peaceful, with an ocean view from the lanai. There is a viewing platform right at the ocean front, great for watching the sunset, and steps which take you right into the water between the reefs (pack water shoes!). The condo is nicely appointed and comfortable. There are even beach chairs and boogie boards. The location is great for nearby access to the beachwalk in Ka'anapali. Heather, the property manager, is easy to work with in reserving the condo, and helpful with all kinds of information about the island from history to popular tourist attractions, dining options, places to shop. Just ask her!

This condo is unique in that it has the undying love and attention of three special couples who are partners and friends in its ownership.

Dave and Betsy- 'We each discovered Hawaii in our youth, and our love of it was one of the 1st things we learned we had in common. After a Hawaiian-themed wedding, we flew to Maui from Olympia, WA, for our honeymoon. As high school teachers, we spent many winter breaks on Maui, where we discovered Maui Sands. It felt like a miracle to own part of Unit 715, and it has become a cherished second home. Snorkeling, whale watching, exploring, and reading at the beach during the day, then visiting with friends and watching the sun drop into the ocean each evening from the deck—what a life!' Paul and Deana - 'We are a retired couple living in Vancouver, WA. We jumped at the chance to own a piece of paradise. Spending part of our retirement in Hawaii has been a dream come true. The peacefulness of Maui Sands and the Honokowai neighborhood are big pluses for us. The nearby restaurants and a supermarket allow us to stay close to home if we choose. Sunsets, views of Lanai & Molokai, and sea life add to the serenity. Exploring the island and enjoying its natural beauty are a part of every visit.'
