The house looked just like the pictures inside and out and well-maintained for a rental property. There was an issue with the hot tub upon arrival and management wants notified got someone out as soon as available. Kitchen was fully stocked and most everything in the large house was functional. There were lots of games and items for use on the beach along with a ping-pong table in the garage. All in all it was a good value for our family of 10 persons.

This house was fantastic! There was plenty of room for our party of 9 and we had a great stay. The kitchen was superb and was one of the best of any vacation rental I’ve stayed at. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tahoe!

Great House for our Group

We had a great time at Sandy Shores Villa. The house had a great layout and plenty of room for our 3 families. Our kids loved playing in the snow at the front yard. The house is only 15 minutes from Northstar.

Felt like home

Best cabin we stayed at so far.! Very clean. Didn’t feel like we was staying at a strangers home it really felt like home. 100% recommend this home. Also the best thing about this house is that every room has it own bathroom. Thank you for having us.!

Great place for large family!

Check in was simple and the place was pretty clean with the exception of a couple cobwebs in very hard to reach places up high. There was some confusion since we came during the summer and it happened to storm so the place was not fall and winter ready and the first night was cold, but we were able to resolve the heat issue with management to be able to stay warm! Would definitely book here again.

Tahoe getaway

The house was perfect for our group. There was enough space for everyone to sleep and more importantly the common area was spacious to accommodate all 13 guests without feeling like we were getting in each other’s way. We loved that every room had its own bathroom, plus the half bath right off the living room. We did have a couple issues with the house, but management was quick to respond.

Loved our stay at the house. Some items seem to be updated, and I did find that the cleaning crew was probably not as thorough as they could’ve been in various ways, but did not impact our enjoyable time at the home overall.When something did come up, I would send the text and would receive a response almost immediately, which was wonderful! Would definitely consider going back

Great Property

We stayed her with both sets of grandparents, a number of friends (cycling through during the stay) and four children under 7. The house and layout provided more than enough room so we never felt on top of each other. It also has a big fenced front yard with cornhole, ping pong tables, and other games that can be brought out from the garage. The house is a short drive from Kings Beach, the playground, the Safeway, and the main strip of bars and restaurants. That said, it’s less than 5 minutes walk to the public beach across the way. Once we discovered that, we kept going back there and we’re able to run back across the street to the house to replenish snacks and beverages and avoid having to use the portapotty at the beach. Also, one of the recent reviews complained about the BBQ so I called in advance of our stay to follow up. The management company assured me it had been replaced and in fact it had been. We enjoyed our stay so much that I called to extend by two days, having noticed the property was available on VRBO. The price listed was substantially less than what we had paid when originally booked. Not only did the management company accommodate but they offered an even lower price than what was listed online. We definitely plan on returning next summer.

This property was in an excellent location, across the street from the lake! Our large family loved the beautiful lawn with all the different provided lawn games. The house is roomy, clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We were concerned that the near by road would be loud but we barely noticed any noise. The beds were comfortable and the ping pong table in the garage was a hit! We would definitely stay here again.

The house is big and great for large families it is an older house but very nicely kept. We did have a few things that came up during our stay and the host was quick to respond. It was nice having chairs and other beach friendly items to use at the lake. The only thing that would have been nice was AC but the fans did help keep the house cool at night.

I thought the house was a little tired. Carpet on stairs were very dirty. Clothes dryer had to be run twice to dry towels. Only had 3 wine glasses for a house that sleeps 12. On a very busy hwy and noisy at night.

11 person, 3 generations visited for a week in mid June. Room for all. We had a great time. Great location. Great value for price. Kitchen is well supplied. Beach towels for all. Some areas for improvement include: Management company could be less robotic in its responses and organize the kitchen better (e,g, pots and pans and cutlery seem too duplicative). Larger outside garbage container needed. An outside table (none on property despite pictures) and chairs set and a beach umbrella or canopy would be great. It is getting time to replace or address squeaky queen box mattresses on first floor. The TV downstairs needs to be repositioned and checked for buffering issues. The large back yard has much potential, but is basically barren dirt. Front yard, ping pong table and jacuzzi were enjoyed by all. Additional fans and/ or ceiling fans are needed for warm days. We would book again.
