This beautiful and secluded 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home which is wheelchair friendly, with a private fishing pond features a large, open concept living room with high ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and direct access to the deck. Our large dining table right near the open concept kitchen is big enough for 8 people. The large kitchen island provides additional seating space. The kitchen comes equipped with plenty of pots and pans, serving wear, dishes, etc. for preparing and serving large family meals.

Master bedroom has a queen size bed and a crib (wheelchair accessible). Bedroom#2 on the main level is ideal for any guests but especially for kids. There's plenty of room to play and sleep with 1 bunk bed-Full over Full, a full-size day bed with a twin trundle and a twin day bed (wheelchair accessible). Bedroom#3 on lower level has a queen bed and a twin bed as well as a portable crib. Bedroom#4 on lower level has a queen bed.

Our game room has a pool table and Air Hockey table as well as a futon and an extra full-size refrigerator.

Mostly great

The pool table was a major disappointment. It has a huge rip in the felt, right in the middle of the table, which made playing pretty much impossible. There were a few minor things that were broken (a door handle downstairs and a dining room chair) but nothing that hampered our reason for being there Other than that, the house was perfect for our group to party in. Plenty of space. Plenty of beds. The kitchen was well stocked and was put to use. The deck was big enough to play cornhole on and still congregate.

John, there are 2 doors, 1 you can use fine, the other is locked. Not sure why you didn't use the other door. As for the chair, I wish you would have said something so that it was addressed. Instead, you gave us 3 stars but chose not to say anything during your stay. We don't come to the house and sit on all the chairs. We won't know if something is wrong with a chair unless a guest tells us so. Pool table felt can't be replaced on those tables therefore we have ordered a new pool table several weeks ago. Again, reaching out to us would have clarified all of this. Glad you still had a Mostly Great time but your rating hurts us a lot more than you think. I would think mostly great time would be more than 3 stars. Either way, you are welcomed to come back to stay with us. Hopefully the new pool table arrives very soon.

Spacious and relaxing

My family and I, along with our baby, stayed here for a week. There was plenty for space and the environment is very relaxing. It has the feeling of being tucked away but a 5-10 minute drive gets you to town or to shops and restaurants. It’s easy to drive past it though, wish the house # was further out so it’s more visible. The house is pretty old so sometimes the wires would trip. Not a big deal but happened about 3 times during our whole stay. There were a few dead bugs (it’s in the middle of the woods so not surprised about this) and crumbs of chips inside the house when we first got there, and the bedsheets were stained and old. Natalie and Bob were great - very responsive and nice. We had a nice time just hanging out on the balcony and had fun playing foosball and pool in the game room. Quick drive from NYC for a nice r&r with family - we enjoyed our stay and would go back!

The house is in DIRE need of some TLC! The pictures make the house look MUCH NICER than the house is

The owners are lovely! The location is close to Camelback so that is convenient. My problem is the advertisement vs the reality. It is a WARN DOWN and TIRED house. The kitchen has the old and used versions of what is listed (except for the coffee maker)in the description. The shower is the smallest shower on the planet and the door has trouble closing. The hot tub inside was clean but everything around it is old and in desperate need of an update and scrubbing (even understanding that it is under an outside deck and it is not enclosed). If you will only use this house as a hub to sleep and with the understanding that it won’t EVER live up to the pictures on VRBO, then go for it! Otherwise, keep looking!

Very sad to read this review Sue especially when you did not mention a word to me even though you text me with multiple questions!. The kitchen is a BRAND NEW kitchen with granite countertops. It's only 2 months old and very far from what you stated. Shower-this is what the house has, well 2 bathrooms. We don't advertise a huge bathroom. It's exactly what you see on photos. As for outside, we had 3 feet of snow, ice storms, 20 degree weather. We can't power wash in this weather. The house is in the woods, very secluded, and there are nothing but trees around. It's impossible to keep the outside free of sticks, leaves, etc. As for our photos, not 1 photo is photoshopped and ALL were done by me, not even a photographer. I wish I could post out text messages here for everyone to see.

Our group of 14 stayed at this beautiful home for a youth group reunion, and it exceeded every expectation! The house is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay.Highlights:Hot Tub & Fireplace: The hot tub was pristine and well-maintained, providing a great place to unwind. The wood-burning fireplace in the open-concept living area created a cozy gathering space.Game Room: The perfectly balanced pool table was a hit with everyone, making the game room one of our favorite hangout spots.Sleeping Arrangements: The bedrooms were more than spacious enough for our group. The girls shared one large room comfortably, and the guys spread out across the rest of the house.Outdoor Amenities: The fire pit area was perfect for evening conversations, with ample wood provided (though we brought extra just in case).Kitchen: The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, and every cabinet was clearly labeled—an amazing touch that made meal prep a breeze! We adored our stay at this property! You’re primarily paying for privacy and amenities- fires in both an indoor fireplace & an outdoor pit (with some wood to start you off), hot tub fully prepared & rearing to go, game room including PAC machine, pool table, air hockey, & more, and a GORGEOUS & fully equipped kitchen! Property has the perfect level of privacy- tucked up in the woods off of the road (up a slight & unpaved incline) and it features a PRIVATE POND! There’s even a picnic table and 2 benches by the water. This property would be perfect for a large gathering and also a great choice if bringing children. In warmer seasons, there’s even a heated above ground pool! Has large deck with grill and tons of seating. There are 3 large comfy couches for ample seating in the main area & 2 huge couches in basement, an 8 person kitchen table & plenty of seats along the island, 2 stand up showers, 2 toilets, & a separate bath, 2 refrigerators, washer & dryer (with detergent provided), multiple TVs, and plenty of parking. The owners are very thoughtful and almost everything you could need is provided! I really love how they send a list of everything included in the property so there is no guess work as to what you need to pack. They were extremely responsive and helpful during all communication. Additionally, we loved the area of the property! There are many great restaurants that are easily accessible, as well as a couple grocery stores and other sights. Excellent property!
