We had a wonderful stay here. This location is great. It is within walking distance from the beach and a small general store that has sandwiches and coffee. It was a comfortable stay and perfect fit for 3 adult couples.

Sunset Beach Cottage

We loved Sunset Beach. This little beach cottage was in a great location so we could enjoy both the sunrises and the sunsets on the beach! Sunset Beach Cottage had what we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

The property was nice. We enjoyed hanging out downstairs the most. There was always a nice breeze there. Had to bring our own linens and towels. Which for the price I could have gotten something for the same price and not had that aggravation.

Property was in a great location and close access to pier. We had a lovely time . Would definitely stay there again. Mattresses were wonderful and soft. Slept like a baby. Would love to know the type of mattress used in the king room.

Amazing Home

We stayed at this house in 2022. Unfortunately, it was already booked for this year or we definitely would have stayed again! Close to the beach. Appliances all new. Beds were comfortable. It was a perfect place for our family to stay at Sunset Beach. Would definitely stay here again!!

Nice one level at the beach

Open one level very clean and bright. You can see the ocean from the porch. Quiet street. Very clean inside with all you need to have family or friends with you. Good amount of room to cook and hang out and visit. Easy walk to the beach!

Nicely appointed

This cute cottage has everything you need for a beach stay. The kitchen was very well stocke. Little touches tabound from laundry baskets in the bathroom, shelving in the laundry area. Living room furniture is comfy and cozy. Only small things are lack of electric outlets, and bright light from the main bathroom every time the door was opened disturbing sleep. I'd 100% stay againjust pack a sleep mask.

Cold, windy stay at Sunset beach.

In all, the property and property management were great. The only drawbacks were the weather (cold and windy and out of anyones control) and the fact that the pet fee was left off of our initial contract. The proper fee was added quickly and with a smile to a revised contract at our prompting. Small issues to be sure which did not spoil our stay. Would stay again.

Gut: Kommunikation und Lage
Verbesserungswürdig: Check-in
We had to wait an extra hour to check in as the house had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4pm. The outside shower head was left broken so when we turned it on to use it it flew off and almost hit me in the head. There were no clean sponges to wash dishes only old used one and there was only 1 tablet for the dishwasher so we needed to buy those so we could wash our dishes regularly.

Automatic door locked at sporadic times. Made me feel like we were being watched from the security cameras. This is also being managed by a property management company on the island so there seems to be 2 layers of communication and responsiveness through the Vrbo app is not being monitored.

Cute house close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay at this cute house. It was big enough for our family. Nice kitchen. Short walk to the beach. The pier area of the beach is crowded but that we had beautiful weather and a restful stay. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

Online listing was very misleading

In the pictures for this listing the backyard looks to be of a decent size. It is not. I had to walk my dogs down the street for them to use the bathroom because of how small it was. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable and also didn’t have enough room for my family of 5 to sit together in the living room. All of the dishes available were dirty and had to be washed before use. The tv in the back bedroom did not work and was unplugged when we got there. Other than those things the house was nice. Sunset beach has nothing to do and the beach is extremely crowded. I will not be returning to this property or to Sunset Beach again

Great location, very clean

The location was an easy walk to the beach and surrounding towns. The property has lots of windows that let in tons of natural light. It was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the porch and could here the ocean while we sat outside. The kitchen was updated and roomy. One of the bedrooms do not have a TV and we couldn’t get the TVs to work in the other two bedrooms. We didn’t call and ask how to use it since we were only there a few days and didn’t really mind. The TV in the living room worked great and was enough for us. We would rent it again.
