Nestled in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lotts of Sky offers a peaceful setting where guests can relax to the sounds of Big Creek waterfall from expansive wraparound porches. Although the home feels wonderfully private, downtown Highlands and Cashiers are just a short drive away.

A note on the water: you hear Big Creek from every deck — it's the soundtrack to morning coffee and evening fires. The falls themselves are about a half-mile hike from the house through heavily wooded terrain, not on the property.

The Combo includes the main house and private carriage house, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests (10 adults and 6 children). This unique layout is ideal for multi-generational families, couples traveling together, grandparents, teenagers, or groups who appreciate having separate living spaces while sharing one unforgettable mountain getaway.

The Main House
The main home features four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, four stone fireplaces, and multiple gathering spaces designed for family time. The gourmet chef's kitchen includes a six-burner gas range, two ovens, and plenty of space for preparing meals together.

The main level features a king bedroom suite with a private stone fireplace. Upstairs, an open loft overlooks the living area and leads to another bedroom suite. The lower level includes a family room with fireplace, a kids' bunk room, and another king bedroom suite.

Three king suites, a bunk room, and flexible sleeping areas make Lotts of Sky comfortable for families and groups traveling together.

Private Carriage House
The private carriage house, located above the garage, provides additional comfort and privacy with its own entrance, dedicated parking, private deck, king bedroom, full bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and living area.

The carriage house is perfect for grandparents, teenagers, another couple, or family members who appreciate having their own space while still being close to the group.

Family-Friendly Features
Lotts of Sky was designed with families in mind. Kids can enjoy a dedicated screen-free lounge featuring ping pong, foosball, mini pool, magnetic darts, cornhole, and board games. The bunk room comfortably sleeps up to six children (95-pound weight limit), and the outdoor zip line provides an extra adventure for younger guests.

Adults can relax on the porch, gather around the outdoor stone fireplace, enjoy the hot tub, or spend quiet evenings together surrounded by the mountains.

Easy Access for Every Generation
Step-free entry from the garage leads directly onto the main level, where you'll find a king bedroom suite with ensuite bath, a half bath, the kitchen, living room, and deck — all on one floor, no stairs required. A real difference for grandparents, anyone with limited mobility, or anyone who'd simply rather not haul luggage up a flight. (The main-level bath has a tub; there is no roll-in shower.)

Located between Highlands and Cashiers, Lotts of Sky provides easy access to some of the area's best experiences. Explore Whiteside Mountain, hike nearby waterfalls, enjoy boating on Lake Glenville, ski or enjoy winter activities at Sapphire Valley, and discover the restaurants, shops, and galleries of downtown Highlands just 4.4 miles away.

At 3,740 feet, the air here is genuinely different — summer nights need a blanket, and July afternoons run roughly ten degrees cooler than they do back home. Two and a half hours from Atlanta, and a world away from it.

Pets
We welcome up to two well-behaved pets so your whole family can enjoy the mountains together. To help keep Lotts of Sky comfortable for every guest, pets must remain off furniture and beds.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets outdoors and following our pet guidelines. Failure to follow these policies may result in additional cleaning charges.
