Everything about our stay was excellent. Check in couldn't have been easier, the house was perfectly clean, and the views cannot be beat. Being so close to the ORV area of the dunes was really cool to watch and the kids loved watching them. I would highly recommend staying here, and plan to do so again.

The property is exactly what is listed. Beautiful view of lake Michigan. Check in was seamless and the golf cart was perfect for the trip down to the beach. Great family trip for my husband and my adult kids.

Perfect!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay and this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking. You are a very short walk to the beach and the sand dunes. Quick trip into town for necessities. So much fun stuff to do with the (older) kids in the area. The property was very clean and comfortable. Amazing stay, we will definitely be back!

Tween says “best vacation in awhile”

We loved this property! Both kids really enjoyed the nightly golf cart rides. We used the beach, met friends at the dunes, and did all things touristy. But the best was the view. We live on a lake and have a sunset view but this just doesn’t compare. We will definitely stay again.

Loved every minute of this stay!

The house was perfect and just as described in the listing and pics. Our family was so comfortable and loved the cute home and awesome location! The beach was so close and clean and the lil ones liked riding the golf cart to it. Being able to see all the action on the dunes right there too was amazing! Sunsets here are beautiful. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We had a great trip at The Sage and we highly recommend this property.

The view of Lake Michigan from this cottage was outstanding. The inside was well organized and comfortable. This cottage is air conditioning, which made it really nice when the weather was hot. It also has a washer and dryer which made the family stay much easier in regards to keeping up with towels and clothing. But best of all was having plenty of room for people to eat outside. There were a couple of evenings when other family members joined us for a meal and there were no problems with seating because everyone ate outside, and with a small buffet inside. Overall, this was an excellent stay.

The house is right on the water and just a short walk to a great beach. Regretfully, our stay happened to coinside with a cold front preventing us from enjoying the beach or the lake. You enter the house thru a bedroom with a full size bed. There's a 2nd room with 2 twin beds, otherwise you're sleeping on the sun porch or pull out couch in the main room. The cottages are rather close together. Luckily, we were leaving as everyone was arriving for the long Labor Day weekend. We would have enjoyed it so much more if we'd been at the beach all day as we planned. There's no oven, just an electric cook top. We had to move a propane tank from a table on the last night in order to use the grill because that tank was empty. There was a third propane tank that gave us about a half hour of flame before it was empty as well. Just little hassles. Oh, be warned about the shower. It'll be hot and then get cold, for no apparent reason, then get hot again. All in all I'd give it a 10 if it hadn't been so darn cold!

The location is stunning. We loved it. The property was clean and the host was extremely easy to communicate with. The property is located right on Lake Michigan. We found it to be peaceful there and we were able relax. It was so relaxing I slept a number of times on the deck. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed. Sunsets are not to be beat and if you have a cold drink in your hand, you will not be disappointed. We packed soft drinks, wine and margaritas. There is a blender in the cottage to crush ice. Pack clothes for both warm and cold weather. Meaning long pants and long-sleeved shirts and sweaters in addition to shorts, t-shirts and bathing suits. Also pack sun hats and sunglasses. We brought food with us and what we did not bring we purchased at Hansen's grocery store. It has Everything and More! We found a goat cheese pizza that was perfect to fit inside the toaster oven. They had local dips and a canned Kapusta that my husband purchased a case of to take home. I recommend bringing your breakfast food and do prep work for a nice meal when you arrive and are settled. There are two local wineries we recommend. Pleasant Valley Farm and Vineyard in Hart, Michigan. Annabelle Acres in Hart, MI. The beach is close to walk to and you will be able to ride on dune buggies near the beach. We were very happy there. Great vacation!

My children had a great time at the beach which is right down from the house. The breathtaking views are all you need. The view is unlike any other. Nice Property But Dunes Are Loud

We knew the ORV area was nearby prior to arrival and I appreciated that. The cottage was small but clean and the view was beautiful. It worked for my husband, 14yo daughter, and her friend. The beach was crowded with people parked at the dunes and the ORVs were loud. We ended up packing up our cooler and beach stuff and headed down to Cedar Point park, a less than 10 minute drive,, and which is small but nice and quiet. If you're going there to ride the dunes, you'll love it, if not, the cottage is a very nice, clean place to stay, and mornings on the deck with fresh coffee are lovely until about 10 am.

The Dune Noise level varies greatly depending on the dates... sometimes in July it does get busy down there. Same with the beach crowds! it is SUMMER on the Lakeshore. all things considered our "subdivision" is considered one of the quiet zones for the lakeshore near very busy Silverlake. You may have been there on a weekend when there were "races" on the Dunes lined up. July is the busiest month up there.

Peaceful paradise

Stunningly remodeled with sharp interior and a view that won't quit! The wrap around deck is fantastic for lounging and enjoying the peaceful waters of Lake Michigan. Lots of outdoor seating and the grill setup is wonderful as well. Beach is just a short walk away. Very responsive host as well! We made great memories and look forward to returning!

Were the previous Owners of Silver lake Rentals! we've owned property in the area since 2002... I grew up here and decided to come back and Purchase the "Sage" in 2019. Were both Retired and love the lakeshore area. We spent a lot of time tweaking the "Sage" to the Bohemian Beauty she deserves to be. Its a step back in the 1960's with very Modern upgrades including the Premium Kitchen, Bathroom, Fancy Linens and all New Beds.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The Sage was the very first property developed on the Bluff......In Juniper Beach. I am only the 3rd owner... This Cottage has had only Loving hands on it and we hope to find a solid renter base that takes care of it and loves it as much as we do! The Views are the best in the Sub...the cottage has been fully Modernized and has a bohemian feel that's very relaxing. This is not a Loud party place, its beautiful and Serene and Unique. This is a place to relax! We can provide referrals for dining & Spa Massage very close by as well.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig
