We have many passions and being outdoor is a priority for us. We enjoy hiking, skiing, walks in nature and simply relaxing on our porch or patio. With Rick retiring in 2019 and my flexibility as a health coach and yoga therapy student, the opportunity presented itself to venture into business together. Our deep affection for Chautauqua Lake and Bemus Point spans nearly 20 years. We love all seasons in western New York and happy to call Bemus Point a special home of ours!

We are proud parents of five loving children and grampa and mimi to our two sweet grandchildren :-) We are also proud to say that Bridlepath Lake Resort is our second guest property in Bemus Point and has been a true labor of love. Purchased in 2020, we transformed an original 1930’s cottage with its 1960’s outdated addition into a stunning all-season lake/beach encounter. ABOUT THE ‘NEW’ LOOK — Two different experiences in one home.

We kept the charm of the original 1930 cottage structure, including restoring hardwood floors in 2 bedrooms. This delightful section of BridlePath includes 4 bedrooms, bath, laundry and sunroom—all connected by a lovely and inviting wide hallway - yet another gathering place. We designed this serene section of the home with privacy in mind. We offer a comfortable and relaxed experience in our cozy sunroom oasis. You can enjoy quiet conversation, accomplish school/work obligations or simply snuggle in for quality time reading a good book.

1960 meets 2021! We redesigned the rest of the home with socializing in mind. This gathering place with family and friends lends itself to many fond memories being created. Raise your voice for some much needed laughter as you prepare a meal together and break bread at the large dining table. Perhaps movie/game night is on your agenda. Play some music and dance around the expansive kitchen and living room. Gather outdoors grilling, playing games, swimming and marshmallow toasting by the fire-pit.

GET OUTSIDE
Being outdoors or simply experiencing nature are important themes for us so even while indoors, you can bask in the morning sun light from any of the front facing rooms or step out into our screened in porch overlooking the lake — perfect for rainy days and evenings protected from the mosquitoes.
