Unwind on Cherokee is a welcoming vacation rental cabin tucked along the shores of beautiful Cherokee Lake, designed with both families and fishermen in mind. The cabin features a bright, open floor plan that brings everyone together—perfect for relaxing after a day on the water, sharing meals, or enjoying game nights indoors.

Large windows fill the living space with natural light and offer peaceful lake views, while the layout allows easy flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Step outside to the spacious outdoor porch, where you’ll find a comfortable swing—an ideal spot for morning coffee, evening conversations, or simply soaking in the calm lake atmosphere.

With direct lake access, guests can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, or quiet shoreline moments just steps from the cabin. Whether you’re casting a line at sunrise or unwinding with family as the sun sets, Unwind on Cherokee offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and relaxation.

Huff's German Creek Marina is right across the lake from the cabin. You can see it from some of the pictures. There is a put in there for your boat. They also have boat rentals from May-October.

Tranquility on Lake Cherokee

Quiet area of Lake Cherokee with well maintained home; Nicely furnished (the bunk room was perfect for young children), with well equipped kitchen. Covered porch overlooking the lake was great for morning coffee or mealtime. A wonderful family vacation spot!

Wonderful property, well stocked and furnished. Awesome front porch, easy walk to the dock. Huff's marina staff were very friendly as well. This lake was beautiful and easy to get to, we had a great stay.

Great place!

Great location with easy access to the lake! Property manager/owner was very responsive. Highly recommend for a family getaway with plenty of activities for the kids. New appliances and very clean property. We will absolutely stay here again

Annual fishing trip

Easy access to lake. Plenry of room for our group. Large concrete area great for playing cornhole in the evenings. Very nice place.

Amazing Place

This place was perfect, very clean and convenient. Even though the lake was down we still enjoyed catfishing in the evening, bonfire at night. one of the best relaxing vacation homes i have ever stayed in. Spartanburg , SC

Annual Fishing Trip

Excellent place to stay. House is really close to the water. My 79 year old uncle has no trouble getting back and forth to the dock. Highly recommend!

Lovely place!

Loved staying here!! Having the dock and flat yard were super nice. Layout of the second floor is so nice - all open lots of space great for a group. Lake wasn’t busy at all. Check out the jumping cliffs - ask at the marina for directions - so fun for the kids (and adults)!

An awesome lake get-a-way

An effortless and enjoyable vacation rental. The owners were responsive and reassuring from the booking to checkout. The property is great, well beyond the pictures and descriptions. This is the best Cherokee Lake experience available. We will be back.

Our family lives in Knoxville, which is an hour away from Cherokee Lake. We have 3 boys and 2 daughters in laws and we love our family time at the cabin and on the lake! We are able to relax and enjoy all the lake has to offer here! This is our 3rd cabin on the Cherokee Lake. We enjoy renovating and remodeling homes and are working hard to make this cabin a relaxing place to spend with family and friends and make memories!

There are many lakes in this part of Tennessee but we love Cherokee Lake. It is beautiful and calm, which is great for fishing, tubing and swimming. We love how close you are to the lake at this cabin. When you sit on the porch, you can hear the water and there are views of the lake from just about every room in the cabin, which is so relaxing. With the outdoor area just steps from the cabin, it is so convenient to get to the boat, dock, picnic table and fire pit.

The location to Huff's German Creek Marina is great. It is less than a mile away and you can see the marina from the cabin. You can put in your boat there and bring it over to the dock at the cabin. You can also rent a pontoon boat there. The cabin provides privacy since it's at the end of a gravel road.
