Looking for your dream house? You found it. This 6 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom ocean-view home, located at 59 Surfsong Road, was recently built and completed in May 2021. It is easily one of the most special vacation rental homes on Kiawah Island!
Situated amongst the majestic live oaks in the exclusive Vanderhorst neighborhood within the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, this luxurious estate is just steps from the beach and ten miles of pristine sandy shoreline, accessed via the semi-private boardwalk (shared with just one other home). It features incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean from the upper decks and a multitude of custom designs, such as the state-of-the-art private pool, remarkable patio dining and living space with outdoor kitchen, entertainment room with pool table, backyard putting green, and even a hallway coffee bar on each three levels of the home. It really is a vacationer's dream.
The reverse floor-plan is ideal for vacationers, making the most of the incredible views on top levels of the home. The first level of the house accommodates 4 of the 6 bedrooms: two bedrooms with a King bed, a third room with a Queen bed, and a fourth bedroom with unique built-in, twin-sized Bunk Beds. Each of these four guest bedrooms have private bathrooms and a television. Also on this ground level, you'll find an entertainment area with billiards table, comfortable sofa, television, and card table, as well as a laundry area and extra half bathroom, just off the pool area.
The second floor of the home houses the main living and dining areas of the property. The gorgeous, contemporary chef's kitchen features stylish and modern cabinetry and lighting, gas range, farmhouse sink, all new appliances, and an expansive central island with bar stool seating for five, perfect for entertaining! You'll find an over-sized sectional sofa and large flat-screen TV in the main living room, and a dining area with table seating for 10 guests. There is also a wet bar with wine fridge, a butler's pantry with additional prep space and storage, a second refrigerator, and a washer/dryer for added convenience, and a half bathroom.
Step just outside to the second floor patio deck areas to find one of the highlights of the home, which brings the indoors outside. Take in the salty ocean breezes as prepare a delicious meal in the outdoor kitchen area with grill and enjoy a special meal at the eight-person outdoor dining table. Relax with a cup of morning coffee or enjoy a late night TV and conversations on the comfortable, outdoor sectional sofa.
There is one bedroom on the second level which contains a king bed, TV, and private bathroom.
The third floor of the house is the master suite. It boasts amazing ocean views from the private balcony. This spacious bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. The master bathroom is complete with double vanities, custom marble floors and backsplash, a walk in shower, and soaking tub.
Moving to the backyard area of the home, you'll find the custom-designed private pool and spacious deck with cable railing. There is ample space for lounging and sunbathing, relaxing under on the covered porch on a custom-built swing bed, or even getting in a little golf practice on the outdoor putting green. And of course, the beach and the ocean is accessible any time of day down the short semi-private boardwalk!
