She's done! We are doing the finishing touches between wine glasses, the elevator is installed, the hot tub just showed up, and the wifi is on! Most importantly the 75" TV and fireplace are installed! On The Rocks is a Brand New Luxury Ocean Front custom property with 5 bedrooms and four and half baths. The house is an upside down design with the kitchen, living, dining, half bath and one master bedroom (with on-suite) on the top level. First level has four bedrooms and 3 full baths. Three of the bedrooms are on-suites creating 3 master suites. Our goal is provide a self-contained resort type vacation with endless views and proximity to the beach. The house boosts a beautiful modern design with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The first deck has a 7 person hot tub over looking the Gulf of Mexico. The 1st deck is 1080 square feet, the 2nd deck is 980 square feet with one side uncovered for sun bathing above it all. Each bathroom is designed to have the Spa feel and feel of luxury, marble counter tops and thoughtfully selected tiles and colors to help you relax and enjoy a bath. Our yard is fenced so our our legged friends can run and explore and enjoy their vacation as well. Our house is situated next to the rocks at Treasure Island which has the most relaxing sounds of waves splashing in the rocks. It's truly a great vacation location. As a builder and having adjusted houses for multi-family rentals this house is second to none.

Great Fishing & Lovely Beach Access

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The fishing in front of the house was incredible (thanks to the green light) and the beach location was lovely. We had trouble with the WiFi connection, but otherwise no complaints. Definitely a place we would stay again!

I really want to say Thanks for staying with us. AT&T shipped a new router; sorry it was down for a few days. We now have AT&T Air Wi-Fi. As for the fishing, I'm so happy y'all did well. The trout have been running, and the green light brings them right in to just off the rocks. If you have photos, please share photos, I work too much and don't get to fish as I would like. Thanks for staying with us.

We do an annual trip to Galveston and this was our second time to stay at "On The Rocks." The property is amazing and the views are breathtaking. The property is clean and the beds are cozy. Paul is super responsive and so easy to work with. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Wonderful Stay

We so enjoyed this beautiful beach home right on the water. We had 13 of us celebrating our Grandpa’s 80th birthday. This home was perfect for our family. It is excellently decorated and very comfortable. We spent time at the beach. The men fished in front of the beach house. Hope to visit again in the future.

Awesome experience

We had a wonderful time . Very nice beach house. Paul, our host was very prompt to answer our questions before the stay. While we were there, Deborah (property manager) was very helpful and came to make sure everything was ok. The crabbing experience was awesome. We definitely will stay there again.

Fantastic Place

This place is beautiful and just right for our family. Kitchen was stocked with everything you will need. Great soft beds and luxurious towels. Very clean, and the great record collection was so fun for our family. We have stayed in two other places at Treasure Island and this place was by far our favorite. There was an issue with the hot tub we were not aware of, but everything else was just as the host said it would be. We hope to be able to visit again!

I really want to say thank you for the review. We work very hard to make sure the house is in great shape, and everything is easy to use, just like home. I hate to say we got hit by hurricane Beryl, the concrete was a bit washed out and the sides of the hot tub blew off allowing saltwater to get into the hot tub's control panel and electric pumps. We're working on it but have to wait for the insurance claim and parts. We expect to have it back up soon. Thanks for staying with us!

Great Thanksgiving Week!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at On The Rocks for the Thanksgiving week. The view from the deck was amazing and we saw dolphins in the water almost every day! The lift is very helpful for heavy items and worked well. The rooms are all very comfortable as is the lounge and dining room. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. We had a great time!

Awesome Experience

Fantastic stay at a beautiful beach home. Kitchen was amazing with its spectacular view of the gulf. Constant gulf breeze blowing and a short walk to the beach. While relaxing on the deck we saw a pod of dolphins. It was awesome. Did not want to leave. Memories made.

beautiful house and location

we booked this property based on an elevator and hot tub, neither of which worked and wasnt told about it in advance. i walk with a care due to severe arthritis and managing those steps was very difficult.

Hi Karen, Thanks for staying with us. I'm very sorry both these items had issues. As you know we had a bad lightning storm come in early the morning hours of your arrival and seems to have knocked out the control box on the lift and the new mother board on the hot tub. Both are 220v units and don't have surge protectors. It happened during the holidays' and both offices were closed, and I couldn't get technical support. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. I know it doesn't help now but are repaired. Again, I'm sorry we had these issues

Great house and excellent location

This property was exactly as advertised. The house was gorgeous. The views from the 2 decks were amazing. You can sit outside and hear the waves crashing on the rocks and then walk just a couple blocks to swim and play on the beach. Our group included children age 4 to 17, young adults, parents and grandparents. No complaints from anyone.

Adventure on the Coast

We loved this property. The house was clean and well built. It really had everything we needed. We had a large group of 12 stay there. We rode out Tropical Storm Alberto and the house held up really well. We never lost power or water. We did very well catching Speckled Trout right in front of the house in the green light the owner has mounted on the house. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.

The location rt on water was awesome. We spent a lot of time on the decks enjoying the view. The house was amazing. We ate alot of meals in and the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed the record player and all the classic albums. Paul was great to work with. The beaches are much nicer than in Galveston. This is a house we plan on coming back to.

My wife and I are builders, I build the houses and she does all the interior design. So you don't see all the cool stuff I've done behind the walls and she gets all the credit. We have been building beach homes in the area for 18 years as well as both houses on both sides. Having built more than 25 houses in Treasure Island alone, we feel we have left a mark on the community and are invested in keeping Treasure Island the nicest jewel on the Gulf. We originally started renting our beach houses to help pay our Daughters way through college. First Texas A&M College Station, then Baylor Law. She is in her last year, so now we can focus on our retirement. If you have rented from us before, Welcome Back and Thank You for helping put of daughter though school!! We are currently working an another resort style rental in Fredericksburg TX we expect to have up by Jan. 2022.

My wife and I have been building and renting beach homes in the treasure Island Community for over 18 years. With each new rental we try and take it to the next level. Our goal is to build a perfect small resort. This time I think we've come as close as you can. The house boast 2500 square feet, 10' ceilings, beautiful 8' solid wood doors stained blue, fully tiled and highly upgraded bathrooms and very nice furniture in each bedroom. Because we travel with family too, we have three on suite bedrooms so no fights over the best bedroom, space to retreat and relax even with a full house. Our decks are as spacious and larger than most houses entire property. A fully fenced backyard to encompass the stairs to allow our 4 legged friends areas to run and relax.
