Vineyards Cerco dos Cerrados - Cabeceiras de Basto, Cavez

Cerco dos Cerrados is a large estate surrounded by vineyards, with direct access to the Tâmega River, located in northern Portugal, via an ancient Roman-style stone path.

The property is unique and of rare beauty. The house is very large, spacious, comfortable, and features thick stone walls and wooden shutters, giving it a rustic character.

The house accommodates 8 guests, has 4 living areas, is fully furnished, and has Wi-Fi access to ensure maximum comfort. It is also equipped to receive babies and small children.

The upper floor has three private, modern suites, each with a full bathroom.
Also on this floor, there is a living room with a modular sofa that can be converted into two single beds or one double bed. All beds will be comfortably made upon your arrival.

From the main hallway, all rooms have access to the outside via a balcony with chairs and a hammock, perfect for relaxing while enjoying views of the river, vineyards, and old wine presses.

The ground floor features a large open-plan room with a dining area, two lounge spaces, a cozy fireplace that heats the whole house, and cable TV. We also provide books and board games for your entertainment.
The room has three large windows that let in plenty of natural light and open to the outside, complemented by traditional wooden shutters.

Also on this level is a glassed-in breakfast room, ideal for enjoying meals while appreciating the surrounding nature.
The kitchen, adjacent to the breakfast area, is fully renovated and equipped with modern appliances and a gas stove. It also leads to an outdoor area with a barbecue. This space includes a table for 8 people, shaded by a grapevine trellis and surrounded by plants and an old lemon tree. It can be lit at night and warmed by a firepit, with firewood provided by us.

Outside, there is ample space for parking vehicles or engaging in recreational activities. An exterior staircase also connects to the upper floor of the house.

The saltwater swimming pool, offering panoramic views of the vineyards and river, is private and exclusively for guests' use.
Around the pool, you'll find outdoor furniture, sun loungers, and coolers to keep your drinks chilled. The area also includes a solar-heated outdoor shower and access to a WC.

No need to bring pool towels — they are provided by the accommodation.
Next to the pool, there are also swings and a grassy area where children can play football, volleyball, or simply enjoy the spacious outdoors. We also provide movable solar lanterns that you can place anywhere on the property to create a more intimate and cozy atmosphere.

Several shaded outdoor areas are available thanks to the trees, providing welcome relief during the high summer temperatures.

At the Tâmega River, you can swim in crystal-clear waters, fish, or enjoy a picnic with a complimentary basket while relaxing near the natural dam.
