Welcome to our luxurious 5-bedroom Discovery Bay retreat! Nestled next to fast water, enjoy stunning views from large windows. Entertainment abounds with an 8-seating theater room, billiards, and a spacious kitchen. Perfect for families or friends, unwind in style in this big house with ample room to relax.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

1. PURPOSE:
The use of our property is for family retreat purposes only. No party. No drinking party. No drugs. No smoking. No loud music.

2. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Limit: We allow maximum of 10 guests and 4 daytime guests includes all ages. Day time guests are visitor who do not stay overnight. Day time guest must be registered prior to check-in date.

Toddler Policy:
Our home is not toddler-proof, and we can accommodate a maximum of 2 toddlers. Please consider this when planning your stay.

3. ANIMALS/PETS:
Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets on our property at this time but with conditions, it may be acceptable so please message us for this request.

3. DOCK SPACE: We do have a dock space where you can dock your boats/waver runners, however, it has no lift. You will have to tie your boat onto our dock. Maximum of 2 boats.

4. ALLERGIES: If you have environmental or animal allergies, we do not recommend our place since we are surrounded by wetland, wildlife, and pet visitors at times. We also have a constant visitor of outdoor cats, opossum who at times comes by at our deck when no one is around.

5. Upon confirming your reservation, we will request your personal email address. A company specific rental agreement will be emailed to the provided address and needs to be signed by both parties within 1 week after the reservation confirmation via DocuSign along with your valid photo government issued ID attached to the rental agreement. We will also send you a guest registration form and it has to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to register all guest. The detailed arrival instructions will be sent after.

Fabulous property and host!

The location is amazing with direct access to fast water. The home is spectacular and well stocked. And the host was very responsive. We’ve been renting homes in the Delta for 10+ years and this is by far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. We’ll be back next year!

A wonderful stay in Discovery Bay

My family and I had such a fantastic experience staying at this home in Discovery Bay. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and stress-free. The host was incredibly accommodating—quick to respond, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra linens and even thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. Luxury on the Delta

Spent Thanksgiving weekend here with my family and the property was absolutely perfect. The views were breathtaking, especially during sunset and with the lighthouse in the background made our photos stunning. We were able to dock our boat for easy access to the water. Everything in the house worked flawlessly and the kitchen was impeccably organized. Our favorite moments were in the theater room, sauna, hot tub and the views from the living room. We had family members from ages 10-80 and there was something for everyone. Great communication with the host from start to finish. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Beautiful Well Maintained Home

This house is the best maintained house I've rented on any of the rental home platforms. Sherry (the owner) clearly takes pride in providing an outstanding service. It is located in a quiet waterfront neighborhood that is convenient to most services. We were never far away from what we needed whether it was restaurants, grocery / drug stores, and other services we used. The home has many excellent features and it by far the most documented home ever. That made it easy to find kitchen utensils and to operate HVAC, kitchen appliances, the home sound system, etc. The home exceeded our expectations, we were very happy with our stay.

Incredible Waterfront Home

Everything about Hula Bay was perfect. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 kids, and we ALL had the best time. The kitchen is large and equipped with all of your cooking necessities. Sherry clearly thought everything through. I’ve also never stayed in such a well-organized rental before—all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were labeled so you could quickly and easily find everything you need. The house itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated; the carpets are plush beneath your feet, and there is so much comfortable seating...I found myself inclined to stop and lounge in every room I passed through. The beds were comfy and aplenty—and there were plenty of towels for our group. It was a bit rainy and windy while we were there, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying some time on the outdoor deck—we hope to come back when it warms up and take advantage of the paddle boat available for use! The views inside were amazing and my kiddos had fun watching the geese swimming around. The real star of this show for us, however, was the theater room. We did movie nights all three nights we were there—the chairs are super comfortable, the sound system is amazing, and they even left cozy blankets on every chair which was such a lovely touch. Any time we lost sight of someone for a few minutes we knew they had managed to find their way to the theater room for some relaxed entertainment. We didn’t get a chance to even use the pool table, but it’s a wonderful feature in the upstairs loft and is in great condition. Oh! And the sound system and touch lighting throughout the entire house (sound plays out on the back deck too) was incredible and made cooking more fun. Communication before, during, and even after was quick and friendly. They knew we had kids coming and left out a couple baby gates which was a big help and so nice. I really have nothing but wonderful things to stay about this house and our experience. We were nervous booking a place without reviews after being burnt once before, but we were all SO glad we took a chance on Hula Bay because it was perfect. We are already plotting our next visit. Final bass fishing trip

We came out there to do our tournament bass fishing amongst 4 of us. We do a year long tournament and this was the finale. Our trip could have been better! Perfect house! Right near fast water! Immaculate and more orderly and organized than I have ever experienced in a rental. If there were 10⭐️ I would give that.

Stunning property with so many amenities and an amazing helpful host. The theater, sauna, hot tub, deck space, kitchen luxuries, every amenity was so well thought out and enjoyable. What a beautiful estate!

This is the first home we’ve ever rented that turned out to be much better than it’s original listing. Beautiful property, sparkly clean, and loaded with enjoyment. We all had a great time over the long weekend here. Couldn’t have asked for more. The movie theater room was a hit. The kitchen is where we gathered 90% of the time. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Stay in Discovery Bay!

We absolutely loved Sherry's place! Pictures don't do it justice for how spacious and luxurious it was. We were contemplating other houses in the area and we decided to splurge and go with this place instead... We're so glad we did! The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well maintained and had everything we needed, including a ton of space to cook and hang out in. Loved that her house was in a more private area so we weren't starting directly into someone else's house across the waterway. We regret not renting the pontoon and jetski through Sherry (we already made plans to rent it from someone else instead) and it was great that that was an option. The location was also very convenient as we were close to the rivers surrounding DB and the ride to those areas were close. We very rarely find places that we would rent again, but this definitely one of them!

Best VRBO I've ever been to.

Hula Bay Villa is one of the best VRBO's I've ever been to. Sherry is a gem. She took great care in everything. From labeling where items are in her humongous kitchen, to providing instructions on how to use the sound system, heater/ac, movie room, etc... There is nothing she hasn't thought of. Her first priority is making her guests feel at home. I can't say enough. If you are lucky enough to stay at Hula Bay Villa, I highly suggest taking advantage of the pontoon boat. The Delta is a beautiful area with friendly people. The home is spacious, check-in/check out was easy and everyone enjoyed every minute of their stay. If I could give Hula Bay Villa and Sherry 100 stars, I would.

Awesome Experience

Check in and check out was simple and easy. Sherry was very sweet and easy to work with. She made sure we were taken care of and that if we needed anything she was easy to get ahold of. House was beautiful and well maintained inside. Close to fast water is always a plus and the theater really topped it off for all of our guests.

Great home close to fast water

Two families enjoyed this very spacious home and had plenty of room to spare. House was clean, had everything we needed (and then some) and was close to fast water which made coming in for lunch or a snack easy and quick. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place

Very nice house. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the theater room. The owner is a new landlord and still has some things that the property needs worked out but she is receptive to doing so. Sherry was a pleasure to work with. The price we paid for the week was reasonable but when I looked to book for next year it appears the price has doubled so unfortunately we can’t re-rent at that price.
