I think these hosts tried to make this a pleasant stay for us. They left tea for us and had pretty twinkling lights in the trailer. The trailer was in a pleasant enough clearing in some woods, but the neighborhood around it is very trashy. The trailer is quite small, but we were prepared for that. A cockroach ran across the table in the trailer, but we are in Florida so we were not too disturbed by that. There were a LOT of mosquitos! The trailer had an empty spray bottle of OFF, and the picnic table outside had a burned out citronella candle.
The small refrigerator had a small freezer with a very discolored ice cube tray. The freezer door was broken. It was so in need of being defrosted that we needed to break ice out of it to have enough room to put a bag of ice into the freezer.
Now, the "bed." It was actually a futon fitted into the bed space in the trailer. It had about a 3" cotton pad, but no actual, proper mattress. It was horrible, like sleeping on a board with ridges on it. We left early the next morning and forfeited the rest of the money we had paid for another 2 nights. The whole experience was expensive because we needed to pay for a hotel also, and very disappointing. If you want to give this a try, ask if it has been upgraded with a proper mattress.
