It's A Shore Thing has been recently remodeled inside and out and makes this house the perfect place for your beach vacation! With just a short walk to the ocean, this beautiful, newly remodeled beach house has everything you need to make the most of your visit in Galveston!

Relax & enjoy your stay in this eloquently remodeled, inviting three bedroom, three bathroom,1800 square foot beach side cottage located in the exclusive Pointe West resort community on Galveston's west end.

Step outside on either of the two large balconies of this charming home and from both directions you have gorgeous views of the gulf, bay and lagoon area with sounds of the water!

There is LED recessed lighting throughout the house, including all of the bedrooms. One bedroom is on the main level and two bedrooms are located on the upper level. All of the bedrooms have private bathrooms. The primary bedroom is located upstairs and is very spacious with a king size bed, a smart TV, a cozy electric fireplace, and a large bathroom with a private toilet room, 2 sinks and a large soaking tub. Robes are provided and there is a coffee bar in the room to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the private balcony while sipping a fresh cup of Joe or watch the gorgeous sunset with a glass of wine! The second bedroom upstairs has 2 queen size beds to accommodate 4 guests, a 45 in. smart tv to enjoy, and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom is on the entry level and has a king size bed and a 55 in. smart TV. This bedroom has a bathroom that is shared with the living room, but can be closed off for privacy. If you need additional sleeping, we have a queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room. There is also a Pack 'n Play for our youngest guests and air mattresses if needed. All of the bedrooms have smart TV's, ceiling fans, USB outlets, foldable luggage racks, and hair dryers in every bathroom.

The kitchen, dining area, guest bedroom & bathroom, living room area and a large balcony are located on the main entry level. The living room has a 60 in Smart TV with Wi-Fi, a sectional couch and 2 swivel chairs, as well as, a cozy electric fireplace. There are also 2 swivel stools for extra seating and 4 swivel bar stools accommodate guests for the living room, the kitchen and the dining area!

The kitchen features stunning quartz countertops and backsplash and has stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with all of the necessities to make your stay easy and enjoyable, including a double oven, dishwasher, a Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee pot and a French press, Crock-pot (both large & small), blender, toaster & air fryer oven, microwave, hand mixer, griddle top, waffle iron, electric juicer, a separate ice maker, and even bar equipment for the mixologist! We are also stocked with basic spices, oils, foil, plastic wrap, etc. The dining area comfortably seats 8 people with 4 additional seats around the kitchen island area.

The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. Detergent, bleach & dryer sheets are provided for your convenience. There is an iron & ironing board in case you need it. Also stored in the laundry room is1 large dog crate and 1 medium dog crate for those who are bringing your four-legged friends!

All towels (including large beach towels), bath soap, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, tissue, kitchen/dishwasher detergent, paper towels, napkins, spices, coffee supplies, foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. are supplied.

There is a private hot tub on the lower level, as well as, a smart tv to enjoy while you are relaxing outside. In addition, there is a mini fridge to stock with your favorite drinks and a full outdoor bathroom so you do not have to go upstairs while you are living the beach life!

There is an outdoor shower and hose for you to easily rinse off from your day at the beach! Kid's toys, floats, beach chairs, day cooler (w/ ice packs), wagons, umbrellas, and a large tent are available to use and located in the garage. There are outdoor games that will appeal to all ages, including Cornhole, Bocce Ball, Ladder Toss & Ring Toss. We even have some games that are meant to be taken to the beach!

A propane grill is located on the main floor balcony and a charcoal smoker is on the lower level (propane & charcoal provided). All you need is your favorite foods to cook a delicious meal! Sit outside in comfort on either level and enjoy the beautiful views and the sounds of the water. We have a table located on both levels, as well as, lounging furniture.

Your rental includes access to the Pointe West Beach Club for an additional fee. The Beach Club, including the pools and hot tubs are open 365 days a year! During peak season, the club offers poolside service for food, drinks, & cocktails and they even have live music entertainment on Friday & Saturday nights! This is what makes Pointe West unique! If you're interested, we also have a golf cart for an additional rental fee. This makes getting around the property, back and forth from the pools super easy and fun! Rental fees are $350 for 2-3 nights, $450 for 4-6 nights, and $550 for 7+ nights.

This property is a short walk to the beach. There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside, no parties allowed, and you must be over 25 years old to rent the cottage.
