Very nice, clean cabin with beautiful views from the front balcony. It is very spacious with 3 bedrooms, though the upstairs bedroom does not have walls or doors separating it from the downstairs main living area - there are curtains that can be pulled across for privacy. This was not an issue for us as it was just 2 of us staying in the cabin. The mattress was very comfortable in this room. All of the rooms have nice furniture. The leather furniture in the living room was very comfortable and in excellent condition. The fireplace was beautiful though we did not use it during our stay. The oven, dishwasher, micro & toaster all in good working order; we did not use the washer/dryer at all. We enjoyed the decks, however, some of the furniture needs to be replaced as well as the cushions. The carpeting in the bedrooms & hall seemed a bit worn though it was clean. Driveway is very steep, and there is not much area to take your pet outside and roads are really not walkable with your pet. The roads leading up to the cabin are very narrow with some tight curves and drop offs and some areas do not have guard rails. There were a lot of Fall & Christmas decorations in the living room & kitchen that were really lovely but that should probably be removed for future rentals.

Private and Quite Setting

Cabin met my family's needs as far as bedrooms & baths. The kitchen was well equipped for the little cooking we did. Commute to Dollywood & Gatlinbury was very easy, taking less than 20 minutes. Only issue we experienced was toilets on lower level & main level did not flush well. Will definitely rent same cabin again when we make another trip to the area

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin, great open living area layout with exposed beams. Great view. Loved the Christmas tree !TV system was hard to figure out, need to update. Also a lot of light switches not clearly indicating what for. Missing some of the basics (Ketchup, sugar, etc).Bathrooms felt outdated. Need some sprucing up.There should be a small hand held floor cleaner for pet accidents or as an option to clean rug upon arrival.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To start out my trip was set back one day because I book early last year and my kids' exams changed this year. I informed the people at Chalet Village about my delayed arrival and without asking they refunded the missed night. First-class customer service! The cabin is pet-friendly so we brought our two fur babies along, the accommodations are great for your furry family members. We had an amazing trip, everything is in a close driving area to downtown. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Nice visit over 4th of July holiday

Cabin was as described & clean. If you do rent, note that the road to the cabin has a LOT of curves & can be steep, & the driveway is VERY steep. Try to arrive during daylight & in the winter, you'll need 4 wheel drive at a minimum (IMO) and if icy, prepare to hunker down! And while we did give the cabin a "5", do bring your own shampoo & bath gel, & laundry detergent if you plan to wash. Finally, re the layout (since it wasn't that clear to us): the loft is a king w/ an en suite bath...but no privacy for the "bedroom", other than a curtain. This is fine if you're a family, but w/ friends...maybe not. The bedroom in the basement also has a king w/ a bath, but not technically en suite (across a small hallway that connects the garage to the back door). The main floor bedroom has a king w/ two double bunks: great for kids if you want them all together. The bathroom is close but not en suite, since it's the main floor restroom as well. There were plenty of outlets (unlike other places we've rented), which was a plus. There's also a garage, which was great since it was raining when we arrived... & lots of appliances & a nice grill. The cabin is very dog friendly, w/ several dog doors and a fenced-in yard. We have small dogs & never used the backyard since there was lots of undergrowth & brush, but prob for larger dogs, it would be great. Do watch out for bears: we saw one just down the road! The only real downside: the hot tub wasn't working; hopefully fixed for the next renters.

Great place.

This place is beautiful but as others said the driveway is very steep, it needs changed somehow. Our 4 wheel truck had a hard time. The backyard needs to be cleaned up, too much junk. I know wood wasn't provided but it really would be nice if it was or convert the fireplace to gas. Also more kitchen towels should be provided and some basic condiments, salt, pepper. There was no dish soap either. Everything else is well supplied. I would stay here again because the cabin is located in an excellent spot. Very quiet. Thank you.

Nice place

Nice, cozy cabin. The driveway is short but steep. If it rains you might not be able to get up it. Hot tub was nice. As was the arcade game. We enjoyed the Christmas tree that had been put up.

Very nice property and location

Christine's Cabin could be a real gem if a little TLC and maintenance were performed on the property. We arrived and found the threshold from the hall to the bedroom on the main level was completely loose and just slid around on the floor. The toilet paper dispenser was not on the wall (the mounts were) and the pieces to it were in the drawer in the vanity. There was a pile of tarps at the end of the driveway that had a big yellow jackets nest in it and the backyard had some debris, lumber, buckets strewn about. Just a few minor things really. None of this took away from our visit. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Very nice view (especially from the hot tub deck) and the location made it very easy to get into Gatlinburg or to the GSMNP. As many have said, the driveway is a bit sketchy, especially going down. I found it best to back the car down into the corner (they placed a red reflector on a stake there) and then turn to head down the driveway. We'd definitely stay here again. There are bears all over the mountain! We loved that.

Very comfortable house and fabulous view. Driveway a little steep. Some lights were burned out in the kitchen, shower heads weren’t the beat and grill ran out of has while we were cooking for the first time. But overall stay was great.

Our family get away.

Neat cabin in the Mountains. It was pet friendly. Nice location. Your up in the Mountains, so it takes awhile to get to Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge. Driveway is steep. Kitchen had everything, but 2 quart pitcher to make lemonade.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is very well stocked with a coffee bar and a garage for one car. I also enjoyed the real wood burning fireplace. I will have to say that the drive way is difficult and steep.

Great Location near Gatlinburg

Great Location and very pet friendly with a fenced in backyard. Property was close to Gatlinburg with a fantastic view of the Smokies. Still felt remote. Property had nice amenities in good working order. Hot Tub was clean, kitchen was well appropriated with utensils, plates, pots, pans etc. Only critique was that their was a lot of dust and the vacuum cleaner carpet brush did not work. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Reviewer Comments: My son and I always use chalet village and they helped out this time by moving us to this cabin after finding out the pictures of the view from the first cabin were a little old. Loved the cabin as home base to a great week in the Smokey mountains. Thank you!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself fit our needs. We only had 1 issue. We called Chalet Village and talked with Cathy. She was not pleasant. She insisted we didn't know what we were talking about that we had the wrong address that the issue was not that property. Unfortunately the situation is too long to explain here. Thankfully though we ended up getting a call back from Nancy who did check on the property and found that we did know and had tge right place. As long as Cathy works there I will not deal with Chalet Village.

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed are time here..that cabin was beautiful,clean ,secluded and just a wonderful place..we enjoyed the fact we could have are pets along with us..and are children,grandchildren,and nieces had a wonderful time..we were pleased also with the access to the pools during are down time. Everybody was extremly pleasant and helpful,the booking process was simple and easy.. The cabin was pleasant and clean and offered everything we needed..we love the smokies and plan on returning!

The view is beautiful!! We love chalet village there always friendly& trust worthy.
