We had a wonderful family weekend at this lake cabin! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time at the lake. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great weekend, and we would definitely stay here again!

The host has kept a stunning home, on a stunning property. I don’t always tend toward staying in homes for security and cleanliness reasons but this one was amazing with both. It is cozy on a beautiful lake - perfect for fishing, kayaking, and swimming (so clean!). Everything is well maintained and the host does a really great job at communicating. We will definitely be returning

Communication with the host was courteous and attentive. The house was clean, and spacious for up to 12 people. The large dining table was great for out large group to eat meals together. The kitchen and grill were all we needed to make many meals. The house felt private and the lake was beautiful. Fishing was good for both kids and adults alike.

Great place to stay!

Beautiful lake house

We stayed here for two days while at a conference for work. It’s a beautiful home, is well equipped and has a gorgeous view of the lake. It’s roomy and comfortable and a perfect home for a nice vacation or quick stay. We were very comfortable here.

The property was nice and as advertised. We used the paddleboat, but first had to drain it; the hull was pretty much filled with water and it took quite a while to prepare it for use, much more than simple bailing of the wells was required. The remote control unit for the fireplace in the main room is faulty: it took forever to get the thing to turn on, and we couldn't make it heat at all. We used the switch at the bottom to turn it off because the remote would not turn the fireplace off. The heating system did not seem to respond to what was entered on the thermostat: we set the thermostat to 72, but most of the time the temperature read 67, which was a bit cool. There were not enough blankets for the six of us; my son had to sleep in his clothes because the house wouldn't heat up and there were no more blankets that we could find. On the plus side, the kitchen was well-equiped, though you should mention what type of coffee-makers are at the house: we would have brought Keurig cups if we knew that was what the house had. I was glad to see the life jackets for the boat. Once we got the fireplace turned on, we enjoyed the ambiance that it provided, even if we couldn't get it to produce heat. The setting of the property is tranquil and enjoyable, and there is plenty of room for a large crowd. We did have a problem getting the door lock to function properly, though that might have been due to operator error - it took several attempts to get the door to unlock and unlock.

Great getaway

This was such a great getaway for my family. It was so peaceful to watch the lake from the balcony, or sit in the 4 season room or really anywhere and just listen to the sounds of nature. My kids all loved all the fish they were catching. I would highly recomme d for relaxing and recreation woth family.

Friends Weekend

Great cabin for large group. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. Check in and communication with host was fast. Already planning to rebook with kids and other families as it’s perfect to host more then one family. Very pleased with everything!

Lake Family reunion

The interior was clean, with the exception of a few spider webs. There were also dirty dishes in the cupboard. The exterior needs a good cleaning as the front door area was filled with spider webs. The cabin is very spacious and space for everyone. It is wonderful having 4 bathrooms. The bathrooms were all very clean! Outside of pesky spiders it was perfect.

Great Getaway for Family with Kids

This property has lots of room for one or more families. The hosts are very responsive. I liked that the doors chime each time that they are opened so that you don’t have to worry about young kids wandering down to the lake. There isn’t much of a beach, but you can swim there or paddle boat to the middle of the lake to swim.

Central MN stay

The house is like a brand new dream home! We used the main level and loved everything about it. The view to the lake is very nice and the location is in a quiet location. We enjoyed daily walks through the peaceful area. There was a nice welcome gift bag, a booklet that answered any questions we may have, clean and comfortable furnishings, and plenty of room/beds for a large family. I would highly recommend staying here. Communication with the owner was excellent!
