Great little getaway

Perfect Family Getaway

This house was very nice and a fun place to stay. The pool was great and the game room was also a big plus for my family. There were many places in the house to sleep comfortably and the beds were AMAZING! The owners were very responsive and made you feel welcomed. Definitely will stay here again for a family getaway!

Friends trip to the Indian Well Tennis Tournament

The house was as advertised and comfortably slept our large group. The owners were very attentive to make sure everything such as the pool heating was working properly. We would definitely consider staying there again when traveling to the Coachella Valley.

90th Birthday Celebration

We came to the area for a 90th birthday celebration. My entire family ten of us, stayed very comfortably at the house. The pool ,jacuzzi and slide was a great hit with the kids and grandkids. Beds were comfortable very cozy with each room having fans, tv’s ect.

House was clean & HUGE! Perfect for large groups. The beds were comfortable & kitchen user friendly. The pool was nice. Enjoyed the outside spaces as well. I think it would be a great location for the festivals, a little far out for what we were looking for but that was my issue not the houses.

We had a small group of 5 golfers. We each had our own bed. Two had to share one bathroom but that was fine. The place had a large downstairs area for meals and socializing . The hot tub was used every night.

Large place for all your family/friends to stay. Some of the pictures portrayed the back yard as large, and it is not, but was a great place to hang out along with the side yard area. Bring towels if you have a large group. The location was okay, with downtown Palm Springs about 15 minutes away. The communication with the owners was great along with check in and check out.

Friends of many years attending a wedding

We had a lovely stay at this property. Our group of 7 included the mother & father of the bride. Location was fabulous for them, the venue was only 5 minutes away. The location was also very central to all tourist locations. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the size and amenities of the house allowed everybody space. The game room was a great place to hang out at night. The only downside is the property is on a main road and the houses are very close. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great house interesting location

The home itself was great- clean, large, plenty of space but the area was interesting and not a place I would choose to go back to. Wasn't a huge safety risk due to the property being gated, but wanted to go for a walk one morning and felt a little uncomfortable when walking the neighborhood. Property owner had good communication prior to check in and upon check and the backyard was wonderful to hang out in.

Not what we expected…..

We all had high expectations of this place “The Fun House”. However it was not in the best of neighborhoods, we had numerous issues including:Clogged toilet, i - pad control for hot tub not workable, smoke detector went off in the middle of the night, kitchen was bare bones, towel rack in casita hanging off the wall. The host did respond to our requests and offered a credit. But overall not worth the price we paid!

Overall this was a great large home that fit all 14 of our family members for a Christmas getaway. We always had something to do between the pool (when the weather permitted, 2 of our 7 days), the game room (which had a multi-game video game with PAC Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug, etc) and cooking/eating, s’mores outside. There was shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each shower. That being said, the fixtures are a bit dated, weird lime green wood trim throughout the house, and minor things were not upkept. I reported some issues the first day and the owner was very responsive but there were people in the house for a few hours 2 days cleaning the ice out of the freezer, cleaning and fixing the backyard sink (which we did not use but was backed up upon our arrival). I mostly stopped reporting minor things as I did not want to be further disturbed of family time. The main tv needs to be replaced as the color is messed up on the left. There is a tv in every room, which was nice for groups watching different things. There was a drainage issue outside, and still water in the back yard. I don’t know if that caused the mosquitoes but there were tons of mosquitoes and flies on us even in the house. I personally got about 30 mosquito bites throughout my body. Bring repellant, citronella candle, etc. This was in December, so I imagine it would be worse in the summer. Owner worked with me, as I wanted to bring a dog that was over the 20 pound limit (32lb). Great trip overall.

Wonderful place to stay!

This house was the perfect place for a large family gathering over the holidays. The pool and game room in the garage were used the entire stay by our children (ages 5-15). The rooms were big and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. The house was also very clean. The location was 20-25 minutes away from everything. When we first arrived the neighborhood did look questionable but we had absolutely no issues with safety. I do wish we had stayed closer to Palm Springs but the house was everything we wanted! It was also right next to a gas station, Costco, Walmart, In and Out burger and a huge casino. The communication with the owners was great, I had lots of questions and they always returned my messages. We would definitely stay here again!
