Just steps from the Gulf of Mexico and packed with an array of amenities, SunDestin Beach Resort has everything to ensure a fun-filled vacation. Enjoy seasonal amenities, including an outdoor tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella (additional fee). Lounge by the newly renovated outdoor pool, delight in the outdoor hot tub, or relax in the steam room and sauna. With plenty of meeting/event space, feel free to plan your weddings, reunions, or business meetings. Take advantage of the on-site fitness facility and browse through the gift shop in the lobby and enjoy complimentary DVD rentals. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1712 is a cheerful, airy two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo accommodating up to six. The open concept dining/living area boasts beautiful panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and overflows with sunshine. The unit houses two bathrooms and three flat-screen televisions and the fully appointed, well-stocked kitchen boasts a stackable washer/dryer for added convenience. Curl up in the master suite with king sized bed, the guest suite with twin beds, or on the queen-sized living room sleeper sofa for a night of peaceful slumber. Enjoy the fresh sea air on the gulf-front private balcony, accessed directly from either the living room or master bedroom.



SunDestin Beach Resort, located in the heart of Destin, is just minutes from a multitude of fun ways to spend your day! Enjoy shopping at Destin Commons, a popular mall with several dining options, shops, and a movie theatre showing the latest releases. Venture to Harborwalk Village for waterfront shopping, paddle board and kayak rentals, and world class fishing.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Great family trip

I realize that they were doing some remodeling and kept that in mind. But literally can't complain, wonderful location, great views, close to everything smack dab in the middle of the strip. We had a wonderful time, this is our 2nd time staying here and we'll definitely be coming back

The view was amazing. The unit itself was very worn; broken fridge handle, paint scuffed, broken cabinet door, couch appeared dirty, chairs stained. The building is also quite worn and dated as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our view was an amazing corner view. This unit did have a washer and dryer. We were told at the check in area that most units in this complex did not have their own and that you had to use one in the hallway. But this unit did have a set which we used and were thankful to have. Everything was clean and modern. No complaints.

Overall not to bad, definitely had wear and tear items that needed upkeep (more that just caulk and painting over it). Trash shoot wasnā€™t working and had to walk all over gods creation because signage wasnā€™t better posted, screen door didnā€™t shut easily, outlet in master bath didnā€™t work, light bulbs out and master shower doors leaked like crazy.

Hereā€™s my list of PRO and CONS

Iā€™ll start by saying the overall hotel was nice the people were great and my family had a good time the only pro I can think of is the unit itself has its own washer and dryer which is very convenient! Now for some Cons that I would like to share with others so they know before they book. The first thing is the unit overall needs some TLC. The shower door in the main suite was broke so we werenā€™t able to use that shower at all. The bed in the main suite, one of the boards that runs the length of the bed is broke and barley hanging on. The curtains in the main suite did have mold on them located at the bottom of them. Also the hotel does not have a ramp that goes from the deck to the beach sand you will have to carry your wagon down the stairs if you bring one. Other than those concerns everything else seemed okay. If I were to stay at Sundestin again it would not be in this unit.

Great View

I recently stayed in this condo with my teenage daughter, adult son and his wife. We stayed for three nights. Unfortunately the weather was very chilly but at least the sun was shining. The check in process was very easy. The only problem was our key would not work. I went down to the lobby twice and they sent a repairman up, very quickly, to repair the entry lock. We did not have any more trouble with the door after that. I have to say besides the view, the water pressure is amazing! The condo was very clean, well furnished and a perfect location. We loved the chairs on the balcony, they are perfect. The kitchen did not get much use besides the microwave and toaster but it appeared well stocked. They also had soap in the bathrooms and dish towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent and shampoo. It was like a hotel without the free breakfast! It was very quiet, I love that this is a corner unit and you get the full window on the side wall. It was just as pictured. There is some wear and tear, not much. Several dings in the wall where paint has chipped off and the mirror over the couch definitely needs repainting but overall it is great. It looks like the bathrooms have recently been updated and the kitchen is very nice. We would stay in this unit again. Oh, and it was spring break but there really weren't a lot of college aged people everywhere. There were a lot of families.

Great condo with lots of space and an incredible panoramic view! The unit even had a spare box fan that helped our 10 yr old son get to sleep. My wife and I listened to the ocean as we slept in the master bedroom!Nice clean pool (we didn't try the whirlpool, but others were enjoying it). Employees were very friendly and helpful! A store inside the building, and a Walmart and Longhorn Steakhouse about a mile away. The BACK PORCH (a few blocks away) restaurant staff was very friendly and the Amber Jack fish was decent, but a bit overpriced in my opinion.(i.e., you're paying for the view of the ocean).Several kid-friendly activities, most within walking distance. We went to BIG KAHUNAS for mini gold-STAY AWAY! This putt putt place had friendly staff, but the course is in horrible shape!! No wonder why we were the only ones playing at 11am, when it should've been packed! There's another mini golf a few blocks away as well as an arcade or two. Overall, a wonderfully relaxing, blessed time had by all!
