Summary:
Come unwind & unplug at our cozy little cottage located on Fish Lake in Shipshewana, IN. Just 2 hours from Chicago and 30 minutes from Notre Dame you'll find your haven of rest in Northern Indiana's Amish Country in any season.
The Space:
We would love for you to come make your self at home! Our little cottage has an eclectic vintage vibe, a full kitchen, & plenty of blankets to cuddle up in to read a book or watch a movie.
Our cozy little cottage is just that. It is not a large place, but it is cute & comfortable! Take this opportunity to unplug and unwind!
There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. The first bedroom has a Queen bed, a chest of drawers and a closet to hang your clothes. The second has a double bed, chest of drawers & closet as well. The third & fourth beds (both queens) are found in the loft. This is a cozy little nook, but not recommended for little ones or anyone uncomfortable with climbing a ladder to bed.
Our TV is connected to wi-fi so you can use it to log on to your Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and other apps.
During the warmer months, our little place has a lot to offer!
We have 4 full size kayaks & 1 youth kayak available to use on our lake. There are life jackets available for adults, but we do not have children's life jackets.
The area located between the docks is perfect for floating and little swimmers. It does drop off sharply, so please use life jackets on your little ones.
We also have a wood pellet grill & a solo stove campfire ring for guests to use! You will need to bring your own wood for a campfire but we do supply pellets for the grill!
We supply a limited amount of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and laundry detergent. We encourage bringing or purchasing additional supplies if you anticipate needing more.
If you have any questions at all before booking, please ask :)
