Our home offers everything you need for a relaxing self catering break. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make mealtimes easy and enjoyable, while the comfortable living room features cosy sofa and armchairs and a flat screen TV and a traditional peat open fire for laid back evenings.

The home is lovely with an excellent view. I don't think the pictures do it justice. And the location was great.Ann is a wonderful host who had everything ready for us including a fire ready to light and some initial necessities in the fridge. Ann couldn't have been more helpful.

Amazing cottage with fantastic view!

This cottage was all we hoped it would be and more! It was clean, cozy and comfortable and perfectly located for the things we wanted to do in the Doolin area. The ocean view is spectacular! Look no further - book here!

This is the ideal spot for exploring and enjoying the surrounding areas. The home is immaculate, cozy and picturesque. It is centrally located to Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Galway, etc. The house was fabulous but Ann, the host, was phenomenal. She gave wonderful advice about places to explore, was responsive to inquiries and just an all around wonderful person. We are so glad we found this home and appreciate Ann opening it up to us!

Stunning view! Great Cottage!

Little slice of Irish heaven

This was our first home on our trip to Ireland and Ann was an incredibly warm host who went above and beyond including celebrating an engagement in our family! The home was clean, provided everything we needed, had beautiful views and truly felt like "home" for our 3 days. Wonderful 2 week Stay at Gentian Cottage

The cottage is located outside of Doolin in the quiet countryside with spectacular sunset views of the Atlantic and Aran Islands. The cottage is clean and well maintained by the fabulous owner Ann, who was always available to answer any questions. Our 2 week stay at the cottage with family was a great home base to explore all of County Claire, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Fabulous stay.

Wonderful experience

Our family had a wonderful time at Gentian Cottage. The views were spectacular, the hostess VERY accommodating, the cottage spacious and well equipped. The pictures on the web site do not do the cottage and surroundings justice. We enjoyed exploring the local attractions and towns, watching the farm animals, and the private tour of the castle. Perfect cottage near Doolin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gentian Cottage. Felt like we were living in Ireland. Beautiful views of the sea, Aran Islands and Burren. Quiet street with cows nearby. Cottage well-furnished and had comfortable beds. Good kitchen. Owner helpful and nice. Perfect location for exploring the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, and Aran Islands. Didn't want to leave! Would rent this great place again if in the area.

The house is centrally located to numerous towns as well as the cliffs of Moher. Bedrooms are comfortable, most amenities provided, super clean, and the VIEW. Wow. Ann is absolutely the sweetest person and goes above and beyond to make sure things go easy. This was such an amazing experience to share with my three generation family! Ann was very responsive and met us to introduce the property details. Quiet House With Awesome View

Wonderful 3 br cottage with a wonderful view of the ocean. Excellent if you want to get away from the city. Lots of sights to see including a castle, seashore, cliffs and just enjoy nature. Ann, our hpst was extremely friendly and helpful and keeps the place immaculate. If you want a big city, Galway is about an hour drive, Limerick, just a little longer trip. Ann stocked the fridge with some treats and even brought over some really fresh bread. Grrat place and i highly recommend it.

I married my husband Colin in 1995 where we now work on the family farm. We have 3 gorgeous boys. Colin was born in this area and truly loves living here as we all do its very special and we love to welcome guests to our cottage so they may experience a bit of Heaven on earth. We are always close by to assist in anyway and to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable stay
