BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware of the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules pertaining to snow tires requiring M/S or M+S tires, snow tires (3PMSF), or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 1 vehicle.

Powderhorn Suite is managed by local property manager Cottonwood Lodging Co. where the guest experience is most important. For information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging please see our website.

This suite is located on the 3rd floor of the Powderhorn Lodge at Solitude - just a few minutes' walk away from the Apex Lift, as well as Solitude Village restaurants like Stone Haus Pizzeria and the Thirsty Squirrel.

The cozy living room provides a space to gather 'round the gas fireplace and watch a movie or enjoy a board game after exploring Solitude all day. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and tools that allow you to prepare a satisfying meal when not dining at one of the nearby restaurants, while the dining table and breakfast bar provide seating for all guests. All new vinyl flooring has recently been installed to give the space a more up-to-date look!

Reliable WiFi and access to Club Solitude's heated pool and hot tubs are two more amenities our guests will enjoy. The building also houses 2 communal laundry rooms just a quick elevator ride away.

With one King-sized bed in the primary bedroom, one Full/Twin bunk in the recessed "nook", and a Queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, Powderhorn Suite provides the perfect space for a family or group of 4-6 to take full advantage of Solitude Resort and have a cozy retreat to come home to just off the slopes!

Please Note: In winter, we strongly recommend planning to arrive by 8pm at the latest to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming.

Diese Wohnung in Solitude liegt in den Bergen. Deer Valley Resort und Snowbird Ski Resort sind einen Ausflug wert, wenn du etwas Aufregendes erleben möchtest. Wer lieber shoppen geht, kommt hier auf seine Kosten: Main Street. Ebenfalls einen Besuch wert sind diese beiden Highlights: Alpine Coaster und Heber Valley Artisan Cheese. Stürz dich beim Skilanglauf, beim Snowboarden und beim Skifahren ins weiße Vergnügen und lass dir andere Wintersportarten wie Schlittenfahren nicht entgehen.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay here with our 24 year-old son. Good size space and furnishing, except bed too short for 6’ 5” son, but that’s to be expected. Convenient to slopes as well as bars/restaurants. Practically “ski-in” if you are lucky. Only complaint is that the floors are very cold and there is a no shoe/boot policy. Next time I’ll bring my really thick socks. Also, request real card keys at Checkin if possible. Not a fan of the digital key that only person has on their phone.

Solitude is divided into two areas from which to begin your winter or summer mountain adventures—the lower Moonbeam area and the larger Village base area where the condo is located. Powderhorn Lodge is inside the gates of Solitude Village, closer to the Apex lift than the shuttle drop-off. The Apex Express chairlift is a two-minute walk, just 500 feet from the lodge, providing VERY convenient ski access!

Coming back from a day of exploring the mountains? Winter or summer, you can look forward to the enjoyment of coming back to Basecamp and making a delicious dinner in the spacious, modernly appointed kitchen, hanging out in front of the large fireplace in the great room and watching a movie with family and friends, playing a game of pool in the game room, or taking a relaxing soak in the large hot tub on the back patio before taking a well-deserved rest in one of the gorgeously updated bedrooms. The entire home exudes warmth, luxury, and comfort that will have you dreaming of coming back every year!
