White Oak Lodge

Great location for our purposes. The rental was clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was a little noisy during day but was quiet at night. We had a few hiccups with the booking but overall we were pleased with our stay.

Nice clean quite place to sit down and enjoy your family, plenty of room for all to have a seat!

cons: need bigger step on trash can in bathroom to put toilet tissue in,plastic trash bags would be a plus,more than one set of towels per person, no water pressure in shower hard to wash hair. Pros:Overall Great Place to stay, Nice area, screen in porch was nice to sit and watch squirrels in Oak trees .close to stores and restaurants.

Orioles Spring Training

The host, Gregg was very responsive to all of our questions. It got warm in the house one day. We kept the front blinds closed and turned on all of fans. Afterwards, the temperature was comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Nice patio on the back of the house.We came down for the Orioles spring training games. It was 30-40 minutes to Ed Smith Stadium. The house is close to the Braves Stadium. We recommend this rental to those vacationing in the area!

Enjoyable Relaxing

Enjoyable and relaxing. Things were quite nice. Warm springs in neighborhood was a nice surprise even though it was advertised. Location was close to things we wanted to do. Had to buy a dish towel, we dry dishes at times when not using the dish washer. No big deal. The outside entrance to the laundry was inconvenient especially on the rainy day. We did not have contact with the owner other than trying to get the address and drive by the place a week early. We did see it eventually. Overall quite nice. Oh yea the TV was a little difficult to understand. :-)

Frustration

The property was as advertised. The constant resetting of the air conditioner to 84 degrees was not in the description. When we slept, the air was reset to 84. When we were hanging out the air conditioner was reset to 84. The only bathroom was nice but the water barely came out of the shower head. We stayed for 5 nights and we were given 2 shower towels each. We had to ask for how to find the washer and dryer, As active guys we needed a ton more towels.The duplex was close to allstores and the beaches were about 25 min away.

Hi Joe, This is our family vacation home, it is not an ordinary rental, and we maintain it very well. During your stay you did not inform us about the A/C. The thermostat setting is permanent unless you guys by accident enabled a savings program. The thermostat has a touch screen and it is very easy to control. If you would let me know that you are having questions we would immediately resolve all you concerns. We do not provide access to the laundry facilities for guests who booked less than one week. However when you asked we provided instructions to you how to access the laundry. We provide standard set of towels to every guests and it is not reasonable to demand more that that, and especially complaining about this unreasonable expectations after the fact Having said so - if you guys would call us and asked for extra towels we would've helped you with that as well. The water pressure at the house is 40-45psi that is a standard supply pressure for all houses that are using natural well water. There is a new shower head and the water flow is sufficient for everything that a human need to do in the shower. Have nice travels.

Very clean and recently remodeled inside. Middle class neighborhood 15 minutes from Venice or Englewood beach. Can walk to the mineral springs which is worth checking out at least once. Plenty of other stuff around, restaurants, Wellen park, Atlanta Braves and Tampa Rays spring training stadiums.

Nice rental

House is very nice and clean, No kitchen towels, dressers for clothes, bathroom had no towel holder,,no place in shower for shampoo etc. Noisy neighborhood lots of traffic day and night. No washer and dryer .in our side of duplex.

Dear Rose, Thank you for your review. The property location is shown on the listing as soon as booking is confirmed. The house is far from major highways. We provide one fresh roll of paper towels in the kitchen for each stay, for use around the house. This information is available in the listing. Kitchen is also equipped with insulated mittens for handling hot kitchenware. Each bedroom has a large closet for hanging closes and putting suitcases. The listing also has full information about the laundry facilities, if you had questions about the laundry options you could have asked us about it during your stay, we would have been happy to accomodate your family needs accordingly. Shower sanitation is a key during this time, therefore for effective cleaning we had to keep it with minimal surfaces and shelves for now. Shower threshold ledge can be used to rest shampoo and soap.
