I'm not quite sure what that means? All of the communication we had was automated messages to provide you with information regarding the house. Not sure how that was talking down to you. There was no other communication outside of that glad you had a pleasant day and if you had any concerns we would've appreciated you bringing them to us

Hi Alicia, during your stay the weather was unusually cold, which can definitely affect the pool temperature. As we mention in our listing, when the ambient temperature drops below 50 degrees, the pool heater can’t always maintain the usual 85–87 degrees—it’s unfortunately just how the systems work. Regarding the mirrors, we aren’t able to provide full-length ones anymore since each time we’ve added them, they’ve been broken. You’ll find mirrors available in both the bathrooms and bedrooms. As for the outlets, the home has been set up with standard outlet access throughout, and we provide power strips and charging devices to make it easier for guests who need more connections

Very conflicted about this rental. Location was great for getting places but the neighborhood is old with a rundown look and feel. The accommodations were nice but did need some tender loving care. The pool was nice but very small, and not as clean as it could be. The yard is fenced in, again nice, but not kept up. The kitchen was well stocked. I appreciated how most bedrooms had 2 beds, 1 with a harder mattress and 1 with a softer mattress. Plenty of pillows to pick from. Nice appliances. Front door is kind of wonky. Communication was good. I feel the AC would have a hard time keeping up if temps got above 85. Overall we enjoyed our stay and accommodation but felt like it was slightly overpriced.

The yard and pool are regularly maintained, but during the winter months, we do experience hard freezes that can cause the grass and some plants to turn brown temporarily. The home is located within city limits in a charming residential neighborhood that reflects a diverse and multi-ethnic culture. While it may not align with the standards of a suburban HOA, it is certainly not "run down" and offers a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Regarding pricing, please keep in mind that your stay was during peak season, and you had exclusive access to a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a full kitchen and a private heated pool. Comparatively, a hotel stay with similar amenities would likely cost as much, if not more, for a significantly smaller space. Vacation rentals do come with a balance of pros and cons, but overall, they provide exceptional value for the space and amenities offered. I hope this helps clarify, and I appreciate your feedback!

Nice House Questionable Neighborhood

The house was nice and clean. The property managers were good to work with. The pool area is small but perfect for a few people. The neighborhood is very questionable. If you decide to stay check out Bo’s ice cream shop!

Sarah! The house is in the city limits of Tampa and is a block from ZooTampa. It may not be what you are used to but is a nice family area. It is not suburbia by any means but it is also not a bad section like Ybor or East Tampa.

This location is neat, clean and free of debris. Only concerns were an allergen upstairs that caused a severe allergy attack. This could have been the cleaning supplies used. However, it was not a problem downstairs. And it takes forever to get hot water upstairs. The weather was cooler than normal and we could not turn up the air-conditioner set for 70 degrees. Fortunately there are additional blankets available.The linens are very nice and the beds are very comfortable!Fully stocked kitchen was so convenient!The pool is as described. We were able to enjoy it between rain showers. We will definitely consider this location for our next trip.

Misleading

When we got to the house we thought we were in the wrong neighborhood; the house doesn't look not even close as neat an the one in the listing, the picture of the pool was taken in a way it looks longer than what it is. Found 2 large live rouches the night we got there. "HGTV dream home" MISLEADING, amateur finishes at best. Contacted them after we left just to let them know what we found for their information only, I wasn't going to leave a review to what they reacted in a not so nice way and even telling me the bugs were there because we left dirty dishes when we actually found them the night we got there.

You are very rude in everything you have said here. We have so many glowing reviews, the home is exactly as pictured. I would imagine any insects that came into the house were due to the filth you left behind. We walked into a stack of dirty dishes in the sink, trash, food all over the house and pots still with food in them all over the kitchen counter. The trash was overflowing as well. You stated you are a host on another platform which i find hard to believe since most hosts are respectful and courteous. You did not communicate any issues during your stay.

Great little home

We stayed over spring break, first week of April 2024. House was as expected from the online pictures and it suited our needs. Pros: This house was great for our family of 4 and three additional guests. The upstairs loft has a king and queen bed with a full bath. We had four girls upstairs and the boys stayed downstairs. Beds were comfortable enough, plenty of blankets and pillows. Bedding was clean, the house was mostly clean. Kitchen had necessary items and starter supplies. Nice basket of comfort items was also provided. Clear instructions for everything was easy to refer to. Cons: There isn't really a "hot tub" - it is a separate section that flows into the main pool. The whole pool is kept at the same temperature. This was disappointing since I specifically was looking forward to a hot tub. Kids enjoyed the pool though. The neighborhood was okay...I didn't feel unsafe but we weren't about to take a walk either. Towels provided were good enough, one per person so we had to launder a few times throughout the week. Nicer towels and more of them would be nice. Overall good experience. This was much better than staying in a hotel.

The calm before the storm

First, we had a wait an hour outside because the code was incorrect. Easy mistake which is understandable. When we got in, the place was nicely decorated versus what the pictures online portrayed. Had a lovely time with my husband, kids, and my nieces and nephews. On the last day of our trip, when it was time to check out, it is common courtesy that as a mother, you clean up after yourself and the kids. Coming from upstairs, a woman barged through the front door shouting “You people feel like you are so entitled. Get the f—out. You are trespassing on this property and I’m going to call the cops.” My daughter and I were stunned as this woman continued to curse at us and not allow us to get in any words. We were distraught and frightened by this woman’s language and demeanor. Thankfully, the younger kids were already situated in the car. I would never, ever recommend this location to anyone ever again. It is not family friendly. She claimed that we were wasting her money by sabotaging the clean up crews time. Mind you, the house wasn’t even that clean. From the cobwebs, to the roaches, moldy bathroom, stained bedsheets, and the dead flowers that needed replacing. The management at this property was simply unacceptable and no one should ever be spoken to in that manner. Ever. As a caring mother and human being, I’m still shaken up by the entire experience.

Let me respond to your review first of all you did not wait for an hour outside because your code was incorrect. You changed your phone number on VRBO after booking therefore we didn't have the right number for your code. We immediately corrected it within a few minutes. Secondly you failed to mention that you were still in the house over an hour after checkout time. I had to drive from a half hour away because you had no intentions of departing. You're right I yelled when I walked in but you were entitled you were rude and I never said I was calling the police I did tell you when you questioned my authority that you were trespassing. When you remain in a home after check out time And do not respond to any messages any text or any calls and I have to go to a property you are trespassing and you will be asked to leave. We make it clear in our house rules we do not offer any late check out. Your inability to communicate is what escalated the situation. You made a choice to do whatever you wanted. You can expect people to wait on you. That is entitled behavior. You should think about teaching your child what RESPECT is.
