The 1st thing we did upon arrival was duct tape all the screens in the bedrooms as none of them were in securely. They were all open to the outside at some point which was obvious by the dead bugs and leaves in all the bedroom window sills. Ewww. You really should vacuum those sills. It was as if they weren’t the actual screens made for the windows. All 3 of The bedrooms were nice size with bedside night stands but there were no small lamps on any of the nightstands. If you needed any light you had to use the overhead light which you couldn’t reach without getting out of bed. I mean come on, spend a few bucks and get some lights for the nightstands. And the living room, again, no lights except the light on the overhead fan which when turned on, I’m sure could be seen from space. Not cozy. Then we discovered we only had 2 rolls of toilet paper and we were staying for a week. A blind over the large kitchen window would be nice also as you can see not only the kitchen but the dining area and some of the living room. A couple of bucks could fix most of these issues except maybe the screens. With that being said, the property was in a very quiet neighborhood and very close to Downtown East Tawas. With a few simple fixes I would definitely stay at this property again. The host was very quick to respond to all my questions.
