The Bright Side in Joshua Tree is the great place to spend your desert getaway. You are in the perfect spot to have as your home base while you enjoy and explore the park, shops and restaurants minutes away in downtown Joshua Tree. Whether you want to cook a meal at home, explore town or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit - you'll get a true sense of relaxation at The Bright Side.

The open layout living, dining and kitchen area offers the perfect space to enjoy a meal with friends and family. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 people or a family of 5 with a small child.

The large backyard offers a few areas to lounge and enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise, or enjoy a fire while stargazing. Enjoy the crisp desert air and a quick walk to all that downtown Joshua Tree has to offer.

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property. Thanks for your understanding.

• RENTAL AGREEMENT
There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

• PLUMBING
The house plumbing is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything besides toilet paper (No feminine products, baby wipes, paper towels, etc)

• FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.

If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.

• SMOKING
this entire property is NO SMOKING. Please refrain from smoking anything inside or outside - this property is 100% smoke-free

• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
