Delano Deluxe is a luxurious farmhouse that, while updated with the best modern amenities, keeps much of it's original design. With 6 large bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a wrap around porch and large back patio, this house is great for gatherings large and small. Centrally, located in the historic Delano Neighborhood, it is a short distance from countless restaurants, museums, shops, and entertainment spots. Get anywhere in the city in 20 minutes or less!

Delano is a trendy neighborhood situated just west of the Arkansas River and Downtown Wichita. With popular bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping within walking distance, this neighborhood is perfect for anyone who wants to get one of the best experiences Wichita can offer. The Monarch is a personal favorite (for food, drinks and appetizers). Centrally located, you can get anywhere in Wichita within 20 minutes. This house is located just three blocks from Friends University and just minutes from the Arkansas River. Don't forget to check out Wichita's iconic Keeper of the Plains!
The entire space is available to guests. We do have a detached garage that we use for storage.
Delano Deluxe is a luxurious farmhouse that, while updated with the best modern amenities, keeps much of it's original design. With 6 large bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a wrap around porch and large back patio, this house is great for gatherings large and small. Centrally, located in the historic Delano Neighborhood, it is a short distance from countless restaurants, museums, shops, and entertainment spots. With easy highway access, get anywhere in the city in 20 minutes or less.
Delano Deluxe is a classic farmhouse that was built in 1909 by the former president of Friends University for his son. The house has been fully remodeled and updated with new plumbing and electrical throughout. With elegant farmhouse decor and modern comforts and amenities, staying here is like staying at a luxury hotel (only better).
The original front door opens into the large living room with original trim and crown molding. The living room has a large sectional and comfortable seating with an ottoman that can be used as a coffee table or extra seating. You can't miss the 65" ROKU TV that is equipped with Netflix and Sling. The den has an original stove (not currently functional) and French doors that open onto the back porch and lead to the back yard space. The dining room has a large farmhouse table that can seat up to 10 and opens into the beautiful, brand new kitchen. Enjoy the bar with even more seating. The main floor also has a brand new bathroom with tiled shower and rain fall shower head and a half bathroom off of the kitchen with tiled floor.
With white cabinets and a quartz countertop, this bright farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and gas range, as well as a Keurig coffeemaker, toaster, blender, pots/ pans, dishes and cookware. Basic necessities such as coffee, tea, sugar and spices are always available.
The original grand staircase leads to the upper level that has 4 bedrooms, a large bathroom with tub shower and double vanity, and a washer and dryer. One of the bedrooms sports a king size bed with memory foam mattress and 48" Smart TV. The second bedroom has a cozy farmhouse queen bedroom set and Smart TV. The third bedroom sports a 2 queen size beds and a wardrobe. The final upstairs bedrooms has a desk space as well as a bunk bed (twin) with trundle (twin).
The newly included basement space sports it's own fully operational kitchen with full size range, microwave, and refrigerator, as well as a small dining area. There is another living space with a 50" Smart TV, TV stand (with electric fireplace), and cozy seating. The space has a small bathroom with tiled shower. The first basement bedroom has a second laundry space as well as cozy queen memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a large king hybrid mattress.
The outdoor space is unbeatable. The wrap around porch has a nice sitting area and porch swing that overlooks the tree-lined street. The back covered porch has a nice, cozy sitting area, and the back patio has a nice grille and large table with plenty of seating.
The house is located on the picturesque University Street. The street is full of historical homes and comes to an end at the Commons of Friends University. The street is overlooked by the exquisite Friends University Clocktower, which is adorned with beautiful Christmas lights during the holidays. The front porch looks onto beautiful century old homes, one of which was once owned by the President of Friends University.

Delano Deluxe is three block from Friends University and within minutes of the River, the Historic Delano District and Old Town. Scooters are also available for rent nearby.

We do have a "No Party Policy". Gatherings must remain less than 20 people and be finished by 10pm. If you would like to have a large gathering, please reach out and we may be able to arrange something.
