Relaxing Getaway

Our units surpassed our expectations. The communal space was comfortable and the dining table was huge. The kitchen was state of the art. The beds were very comfortable. It was also close to everything. We highly recommend Salty Sister if you are traveling with others and want a communal place to hang out and relax.

Lovely Stay in Morro Bay

This property has a somewhat unusual layout since it is actually two separate condo units that are connected (one of which is in the basement). However, it was very spacious and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay--allowing a lot of privacy when desired. The location is right on the waterfront, with a great view of Morro Rock and easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The owners were very responsive when two different problems came up, none of which were their fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful sunsets, lots of seals and otters right across the street. Lots of room to spread out. A little spendy,but, an easy drive from Southern or Northern California.We had a couple small problems, but they were resolved immediately by management.

Great Week at Morro Bat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's hard to find a place that'll handle our family of 18 and is handicap accessible. Finding the Salty Sisters Inn was perfect for us. It's in a great location. With the beach and restaurants across the street, you almost don't need to move your car. A public parking lot sits directly in front of the condos. It's not ideal but after the first day, I hardly noticed it. The accommodations and decor were tastefully done. The couches and beds were comfortable.My wife and I stayed in one of the ADA units. It was set up appropriately with grab bars and space for a wheelchair to fit underneath the counters. The outside elevator worked, but it wasn't without some difficulty learning how to operate it. There are 3 things I suggest the owner consider:1. The rooftop fire pit is not accessible for a wheelchair user. It sure would've been nice to have a fire pit on the main deck. 2. There was no seat or bench in the shower. I was told a teak table was provided for that purpose. It's about 16 inches high and might hold 30 pounds. You'd laugh if you saw it. I was OK as I brought my manual wheelchair, just in case my power chair broke down. Suggest the owner buy a shower bench on Amazon for around $75. 3. One of the unit's refrigerator/freezer stopped working, causing food to spoil. Between store-bought food and restaurant leftovers being tossed, about $150 worth of food was lost. It took over 24 hours for a maintenance worker to come. Suggest they operate a little more efficiently. Overall, we had a great time together.

The restroom was clean. The location was very convenient to the marina and to the Morro Rock. I would recommend providing body lotion for guest.I think it would have been a nice gesture to allow for late check out for people with children.Overal, it was an enjoyable vacation at thus rental.
