Those property was exactly as advertised. We didn't get to use it much but really appreciated that the gander room was air conditioned. Hostas were responsive. We were short one towel. They said go get amber they would reimburse. No questions asked. Seamless. We would highly recommend.

A Quiet, Convenient, and Well-Kept Ranch Home

The house is perfect for our family, with a fenced-in back yard that our kids and dog love. It's quiet, yet conveniently located near major roads and city amenities. Within a 5-minute drive, we have plenty of grocery and restaurant options. The host kept us updated and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. We appreciated the layout of the home, allowing each of our older kids to have their own beds, while providing separate rooms with bathrooms for my parents and me. The standalone game room was a great addition, giving the kids a fun space while allowing our parents and me some peace. The ramp to the house was nice for wheelchair seniors. Overall, it's a well-kept, nicely renovated ranch home that's perfect for our traveling family!

Business trip to RTP

My husband had a job teaching classes at ISA in RTP. We live in southern Illinois. We drove so that we could take our dog. My sister joined us, from Florida, the last 2 weeks. The property was ideal for our dog & us. We live on a farm, this property seems rural. We did have some issues, but Bill was always prompt to make sure our needs were met. It would be nice to have a journal /booklets of local things to do. We 3 are in our 70's. Thanks ! Bill. P.S You really need to hire a landscaper for your yard work.

Dirty, odd-smelling and old

Because we have a dog, our property choices are limited. With that being said, the property pictures on Vrbo looked nice and clean. The photos were deceiving to say the least! The interior flooring and master bathroom vanity was newer. The remaining bathrooms had rust and discoloration from years of use. The kitchen and pots and pans were filthy with remnants of food on some of them. The home smelled of ashes from the fireplace and a musty/moldy smell that the owners tried to mask with a fan in the living room area which was on when we arrived. Linens were left in the dryer-whose they were remains unknown. We did not contact the owners to ask for a refund because we were at a youth baseball tournament in Cary, NC and could not stay in a hotel with our dog. Stay somewhere else-even if you have to stay in your car. Overpriced and deceiving pictures in the listing.

Dear Brendan, Sorry that you had a very different experience than the other guests. We are truly puzzled by your extreme negative feedback because we didn’t hear any other guests complained before and after your stay. You chose not to contact us, thus we could not address any of the issues during your stay. We suggest any potential guests to read reviews in the same period on a different platform, they are all very positive. The fan that you mentioned is an air purifier with H13 true HEPA filter to eliminate allergy agents, mold, pollen, dust, pet odors in the air. It’s essential for a home that allows pets. We are really surprised that you were offended by it. We don’t use perfume or air freshener to mask any smell or odor, instead, we change the air filters consistently on AC and air purifier to address the source of any odor or smell. We don’t take pictures to deceive our guests, it’s a recipe for unhappy guests and bad reviews. The things that could be our oversight were linen in dryer and food remnants. We are consistently working with our cleaning ladies whenever those issues are identified. Our efforts are evident in other guests’ reviews.

This place was absolutely fantastic, I can not recommend it enough, especially if you have dogs! The backyard is fully fenced and the size of a small park. Our pups had a blast. The house was clean, and the bed and bath were so comfortable. It is in a great location, within 15 min to the airport and RTP. The hosts were wonderful and had great communication.

Nice Updated Home

We took a calculated risk booking the home after reading the recent 1 star review. Very glad that we had a very pleasant experience with the home and owner. The home is fully updated inside as the advertisement described. No musty smell, an air purifier and a dehumidifier were running when we arrived. The air is fresher when we opened the sliding door facing the backyard. Beds and kitchen were very clean. The fenced in backyard is really nice for pets. The home is super close to nearby shops, restaurants and RTP offices, yet, it seems totally by ourselves. Bill was very quick to resolve a tripped breaker leading to the game room. The overall experience is very pleasant and comfortable.

Perfect for the family and dog

We were in Raleigh for our niece's wedding. The property is 15 minutes from the airport - perfect for fetching those arriving by air. The house is secluded - the yard is probably more than an acre completely fenced in, so perfect for the pooch. There is a detached garage on the property that has ping-pong, pool and other games, so perfect for the youngsters to get away from mom and dad. The home is also convenient to Raleigh/Durham so no issues with travel to/from the wedding and reception. Host was responsive to questions. 5 Stars!

USA baseball trip

Wonderful location, very close to the USA baseball complex and also to the city. The beds were very comfortable and there was a nice outdoor space although we didn’t spend much time at the house.

Great for our Family

We visited Raleigh for a wedding and stayed in this house for a long weekend. It was terrifically located to downtown Raleigh, the NC Museum of Art, and to the wedding location outside of town. Quite near a Whole Foods so we could get any needed snacks and breakfast foods for our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The huge fenced yard was fully enjoyed by my dogs. The owners were so nice and made the whole process a breeze. Definitely recommend!!!

Perfect for my girls (canine)

We came into town and did not not anything about the area. The back yard of this property immediately drew us in. It has a lovely and secure backyard. My girls (pups) loved fetching the ball. The home was clean. Very modern furniture in the living area, so not overly comfortable; however, the beds were very comfortable! Plus, there’s a Whole Foods like 2 miles away. The neighborhood is extremely nice. We felt very safe. When we had a small issue and reached out to the homeowner, they responded almost immediately! It was very easy to locate and the air conditioning was perfect💙 We would highly recommend this property!

This is a beautiful home that has recently been completely redone. Everything is clean and new and works perfectly. There are 4 bedrooms and three baths which gave everyone space and privacy. Air conditioned. Everything is on one floor which is a bonus. The house is completely wooded all around and there is a huge completely fenced backyard and a large backyard wooden porch. Even so, the property is within 1/4 of a mile from a YMCA if you like to swim and just a mile from a major shopping area (Parkside). We were visiting family in Cary and it could not have been more convenient. Our dogs loved it but we plan to stay there again even without the dogs. We never saw the owner, which was nice, but he responded immediately by text to every question and would have come right over if needed. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our family celebrating our daughters graduation from NCSU.

The house was very clean, had all the things that we needed. The "party barn" was a big hit with our adult children. Ping pong, foosball and a small pool table gave everyone something else to do. Nice fenced in yard that the dogs could play safely in. Comfortable deck where we enjoyed breakfast and lunch. Very relaxing weekend celebrating our daughters graduation. I would stay there again!
