Mold, filth and broken furniture
The photos displayed by Vacasa are overly generous and misrepresent the condition of this rental. If you don’t want a moldy, damaged, dirty and broken unit, I recommend contacting Vacasa to make alternative accommodations. Once you arrive there will be little you can do, as we unfortunately experienced ourselves.
The unit has broken furniture (couch w no springs, beds that are unusable, broken toilets, broken vents). The bathroom has black mold. There is a wet spot on the ceiling that has an outline around it indicating that it has been there for some time. Clearly there is water damage behind the walls. In addition the unit was delivered in filthy condition. My husband and I spent hundreds of dollars on an air mattress and cleaning supplies just to make it even remotely tolerable. Not to mention our time.
To make matters worse, Vacasa failed across the board to do anything. (They will probably respond to this to say they came back to clean - they wiped a couple of surfaces and left.) They falsely advertised the unit and left out photos that truly indicate the condition of the unit.
Another recent review identified these issues as well and unfortunately I saw it only too late. I hope you read this and take it seriously ask your week isn’t ruined like ours was!!!
