Welcome to 3 Starboard Tack in Palmetto Dunes! This private, expansive oasis is nestled in a peaceful community on the golf course and is perfect for those seeking relaxation and seclusion.

Accommodations:
The main-level master suite features a king bed, private bath with Jacuzzi and shower, and deck access with pool and golf views. Also on this floor: one bedroom with twin beds and another with a king bed. Upstairs, a large landing includes a sofa bed, while the fourth bedroom offers two queen beds and a private bath with a garden tub and shower.

Living Spaces:
The dining room seats eight at a white-washed pine table, with a nearby eat-in bar for three. The living area features cathedral ceilings, a cozy sectional, oversized chairs, and a game table. Downstairs, the game room offers family fun with Ping Pong, Jenga, and Corn Hole!

Outdoor:
Step outside to a brand-new pool deck featuring a spacious pool/spa and ample seating, including four chaises, four chairs, and two small tables. Start your day with coffee at the bistro set for four while soaking in stunning golf course views.

Clean, comfortable and spacious

This was our second stay in this home, and we'd be happy to come back. It provided plenty of room for the 9 of us, and is very well appointed. We enjoyed the pool, the golf course views and convenient location. We'll be back!!

Family Fun

Our family of 9 (grandparents, parents, grandkids) really enjoyed our stay here as each family unit had their own bedroom/bathroom combo. The pool and property amenities were quite nice. We accessed the beach easily via bicycles and had a really fun stay.

Enjoyed our trip

Nice property and location. The main refrigerator was broken which was inconvenient (no ice all week) but another fridge was in the downstairs area for food storage. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for a Holiday Gathering!

Our family rented this beautiful home for the week of Thanksgiving. From the moment we first inquired about the property to the last day of our stay- we were more than impressed! It is very luxurious. The kitchen is well stocked, the pool and hot tub are private, the bedrooms are very nice with great beds, the living room is big enough for a large family gathering and the bike ride to the general store / beach is so much fun! You will love staying here!

Amazing home and neighborhood

Perfect vacation home for couples or families. Each bedroom affords your own private space. Everything updated, clean, and beautifully decorated. This is a very spacious home. Excellent property

Extremely well furnished and most comfortable house. The kitchen, in particular, was better equipped than any other VRBO property we've ever rented. The location was quite convenient and very quiet. No fault of the owner or VRBO, but we don't enjoy being paired with strangers when playing golf, which is standard practice at the better Hilton Head courses, so doubt we'll return.

Great stay!

We loved our stay at 3 Starboard Tack! The house had everything we needed. We have never stayed in a rental property with such a well-stocked kitchen. The ping pong table provided hours of fun. I highly recommend renting bikes with a cart to get the beach. It’s a very quick bike ride and you can bring your bikes on to the beach with you. Plantation Dunes is a very nice community and if we go back to Hilton Head, we would rent this property again.

Unbelievable property

The house was more than perfect. It had anything and everything one would need; excellently stocked. I want to know what kind of mattress I slept on. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I hated coming home to my own bed. Everything was so luxurious. All five of us had a wonderful time in this house. We will definitely stay again.

Isolated Beach / Beautiful Home

Pictures are very accurate. Very private with refreshing pool. Quiet area. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes and a bit challenging in heat carting all the beach gear - but found we could drop off some of our party with the gear closer to beach which made the walk much more bearable. And it was certainly worth it as the beach was beautiful with lots of space to spread out from the few other beach goers that were there. Hilton Head Properties very responsive.

Great home.

Home was awesome. One glitch: when we arrived to get car pass at 7:00 pm, it was not in the place where Tyler said it should be. After knocking on the Real Estate window someone came & helped us make phone calls to Marcy & Tyler to get us car pass. Problem was finally resolved for us weary travelers.

Beyond Expectations!

This beautiful, comfortable home had everything we needed and more for our 3 generation gathering- even a well-used game table in the great room. We loved the light and brightness from all the windows and that you could actually open them to catch a breeze. Since we love to cook we were pleasantly surprised with the well-stocked kitchen with all the quality utensils you could wish for! We enjoyed the private backyard, pool and hot tub so much that we couldn't get the kids to leave except for a short bike ride they enjoyed everyday down to the general store. Darcey and Jeanne with Hilton Head Properties R & R won us over with all their help and assistance to make sure we had the best experience possible!

WOW!!!!

We stayed in this lovely well maintained home for the winter months of Jan & Feb 1/2 of March. Everything we needed was already there! Each bedroom has it's own bath, and is privately arranged so multiple families could easily stay there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the laundry area has an eco friendly new washer/ dryer. Even a computer and printer are ready for your use if you need them. The property was very clean and the owner Pat and manager Terry, very attentive and easy to work with. The location is beautiful, with a private backyard with pool on the golf course. Palmetto Dunes has a central location on the Island, so access to all of Hilton Head is easy. Could not have been better! Would highly recommend this home.
